BEToday we had a road issue in Wanpora Hardbair Malikpora, spoke to Tehsildar sir and PWD department, and the issue got resolved. The house owner who blocked Hardbair Kaskoot road where the wall fell has been instructed by Tehsildar Banihal to open the road and start work by tomorrow PWD department. Thanks, Tehsildar Banihal

DAQaimoh Panchayat Secretary Abdul Rashid Dar Retires After 36 Years of Service
Kulgam, Jan 31: A warm farewell was accorded to Abdul Rashid Dar, Panchayat Secretary of Block Qaimoh in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district, on the occasion of his retirement after completing 36 years of dedicated service in the department.
The farewell function was held in the presence of BDO Qaimoh, Mohd Rafiq, along with other officials, colleagues, and staff members, who gathered to honor Dar’s long and committed contribution to rural administration and grassroots governance. Speakers at the event praised his professionalism, honesty, and unwavering dedication toward strengthening Panchayati Raj institutions in the area.
They noted that his efforts played a significant role in the smooth implementation of various developmental works and public welfare schemes at the village level over the years.
The gathering wished Abdul Rashid Dar good health, peace, and a fulfilling life in his post-retirement years, appreciating his legacy of sincere public service. Among those who extended their best wishes was M/S Dar Construction, Proprietor Tahir Rashid Dar.

DDOn the directions of DC Kulgam-Shahzad Alam, an anti-encroachment drive was conducted at various locations including Shiganpora. Under the supervision of Tehsildar Yaripora-Javid Iqbal, officials from the Revenue, Police, and Irrigation Departments retrieved around three kanals of illegally encroached state and Shamilat land. The administration said the drives will continue and warned of strict action against encroachers.

I am Umer Hassan a resident of Ahmad Nagar. About 8 months ago, a contractor left a large amount of substation material (steel beams, insulators, and heavy wires) in my yard and never returned. I have no contact information for him.
This is very dangerous for my kids who play nearby, and I need to start my own construction work on this land. I am appealing to KPDCL and the concerned contractor to please collect this material within one week. If it is not removed by then, I will be forced to move it out onto the main road.
