Crashes began last night and have continued into this morning. Even if the roadway looks clear, black ice may be present.
We appreciate everyone who is slowing down, driving for the conditions, or choosing to stay home if possible. You’re helping prevent crashes and giving first responders a safer working environment.
A few reminders near crash scenes:
🚨 When you see flashing lights, begin slowing down early — don’t wait until you’re on top of the scene.
🚨 Do NOT slam on your brakes right next to responders — it creates additional hazards (as seen in this video)
🚨 MOVE OVER. Even in this video, with multiple crashes and lights visible, we saw numerous violations.
🚨 Only you are responsible for maintaining control of your vehicle, regardless of conditions.
