OBJETIVOS DIDÁTICOS • Visualizar e compreender geometricamente o Teorema de Pitágoras. • Aplicar conceitos de área para justificar a igualdade: a² = b² + c². • Relacionar medidas lineares com áreas para estabelecer expressões algébricas. • Desenvolver raciocínio dedutivo a partir da manipulação de figuras planas. 3. MATERIAIS NECESSÁRIOS • 4 triângulos retângulos idênticos (preferencialmente com ângulos de 30°, 60° e 90°) • Régua • Tesoura e papel • Folhas impressas com tabelas para preenchimento 4. PROCEDIMENTOS EXPERIMENTAIS Etapa 1 – Montagem do Quadrado Externo 1. Disponha os 4 triângulos retângulos de modo que seus catetos formem um quadrado grande. 2. Meça o lado do quadrado externo, que será b + c, e registre o valor na Tabela 1. 3. Calcule a área do quadrado externo: (b + c)² Etapa 2 – Montagem do Quadrado Interno 4. Reorganize os mesmos 4 triângulos de modo que agora as hipotenusas formem um quadrado interno. 5. Meça o lado desse novo quadrado, que é a hipotenusa a, e registre na Tabela 2. 6. Calcule sua área: a². Etapa 3 – Montagem do Retângulo 7. Una os quatro triângulos de modo a formar um retângulo. 8. Meça as dimensões do retângulo (cateto b e cateto c), registre na Tabela 3. 9. Calcule a área do retângulo: A = b × c. Etapa 4 – Análise de Áreas 10.
