Nothing heals like laughter Nothing is more defusing than laughing at myself & all the theatrical versions of me I’m endlessly grateful to have a sister who brings that out in me. No matter what mood I’m in dramatic, moody, or in full ego, she somehow helps me validate that part of myself… and then we just laugh it off. The real gift in life is recognizing the people who help you do that and telling them how much you appreciate them. I feel so lucky that my sister and her boyfriend chose to spend their precious vacation time (and hard-earned money) to come see us. It’s easy to take these moments for granted because it’s family, or someone close.
