These days have to be some of the most spectacular downwind foiling conditions around. When the wind dies out but leaves its wind swells the ocean becomes a playground. Now "upwind" is a viable direction to go while you wait for a set. Sticking together is much easier but the best thing is the water clarity, you can see deep into the water because the wind isn't beating into it. Also the novelty of being out in the ocean with no noise but the sounds of the mast slicing the water is unparalleled. Just make sure you don't muck around too long these ocean wind swells have an expiration date.

KEThere's something incredibly addictive about learning how to tap into offshore energy like this. A challenging but endless playground to navigate without the worry of ever dealing with a crowded lineup. We may not get as much wind as Maui, but the north shore Oahu run sure is special when it's on 😍
Shot on one of my first runs sampling the new #eaglex 900 earlier this year which just got released. Fair to say they have a pretty good top end and speed range 🙌🏼 #fonefoil
