• the only product i used on my clients edges was Sebastian hair spray. using hair spray makes the edges look more natural and not slicked down.
• curling the edges upwards is what gives the edges a curly/fluffy look.
• As im brushing the edges in a C shape i also chase it with my finger right after brushing to help the hair spray dry which will mold the edges.

INOkay so first edges isn’t for the weak but here are some beginner tips to learn quick like how I did🤫🤭
1️⃣ I only use the comb side of an edge brush. I feel like the smaller and sharper the teeth of the mini comb the BETTER! That’s just me personally but I feel like it helps!
2️⃣ FOLLOW THE COMB/EDGEBRUSH WITH YOUR FINGER
whenever I’m molding the edges I always use a finger to follow my motion of the comb to hold and secure the top part of the edges especially when cleaning up the edge for a sharper look!
3️⃣DONT USE EDGE CONTROL !!!
ugghhh I hate it!!! It don’t last and turns white🙄. I only use LIQUID GEL!! Or you can use any holding gel that doesnt flake up ! for example “Stuck like glue “ liquid gel by @installedbyliyah ME!! Link in bio to purchase 😉.
4️⃣DRY AND LAY THEM EDGES DOWN!! Completely dry your edges before laying them down with a wig band they will last WAY longer.
5️⃣LOOK AT INSPIRATION!!! literally try to copy and paste your favorite artist work , but also be true to yourself and business and find a way to make it easier for you. Doing hair is literally a WATCH AND LEARN process if you don’t have inspiration or a guide your not going to grow and me personally my inspiration is ONLY Celebrity stylists they present work that the people love to see and want! So watch a video, stare at their pictures but be inspired.
6️⃣ PULL YOUR EDGE HAIR OUT BEFORE PLUCKING !! I don’t pluck the area where I will be placing edges because you don’t want gaps in your edges , PLUCK your edges when the unit is glued down! Patients is key 🤭
