Doing an Eldoa everyday or, at least 4x a week will keep the spinal doc away! 💪 Eldoa method is a 1 minute postural exercise to decompress joints and increase space within spinal segments for example, T6/T7….At this segment a lot of people have compression from forward head posture from - computer work and phones. It improves posture and reduces nerve pressure by creating myofascial tension. They look weird but they’re really hard… and feel great afterwards! You’ll sleep better too. Resumindo de uma maneira bem simplificada, seriam estas as orientações: • Empurre os calcanhares e as mãos fortemente para longe do corpo • região de sacro e cóccix bem plana no chão • Queixo direcionado para o peito, olhando para os joelhos com os olhos (isso mesmo, olhando para baixo, para a virilha). • Gire as pernas para dentro (rotação interna do fêmur) de modo que os dedos dos pés quase se toquem • Dedos dos pés e tornozelos apontando para baixo em direção ao chão (sentindo um alongamento de toda cadeia posterior) • Mantenha a coluna estendida, bem retinha no chão. • Respire de modo lento e profundo, NÃO PRENDA A RESPIRAÇÃO!!!! Wondering WTF is going on here? This is me (obviously sped up) practicing along with @talitamossmoves in the first two classes of the Intro to ELDOA series she created for the Detour Virtual Studio. Class #1 - An intro to the practice followed by the osteo-articular warm up we’ll use before every subsequent class in the series. Class #2 - We focus on specific junctions in the spine: L4/5 T8/9, T6/7, C4/5, and L5/S1 These are the classes we’ll focus on next week in the Detour Virtual Studio. The following week we’ll move on to classes 3, 4 and 5. This is right after I break down my experience entering the world of the ELDOA - Not for the faint of heart… ELDOAs are postural self-normalising techniques designed for widening the space within a chosen articulation. This is accomplished by creating fascial tension to fix the vertebra below and contraction in extreme range to normalise the vertebra above the targeted disc.
