AREngineering advice I wish someone told me at 20:
1. Your first job is not supposed to be perfect. It is supposed to teach you how the industry actually works and help you build skills you cannot learn in school.
2. Being the smartest person in the room matters less than being curious, reliable, and willing to learn. The engineers who grow the fastest are the ones who ask questions.
3. Confidence comes from experience, not personality. Almost everyone feels lost in the beginning. The difference is who keeps showing up and figuring it out.
4. Relationships matter more than you think. The people you work with will often open more doors than your resume ever will.
5. Your career is long. You do not have to have everything figured out at 22.
