Info 📖 👇 This reel shows how Wendy, despite being heir to the Throne is unsure if it’s what’s she’s destined for. After her kingdom was besieged she has had to witness much suffering and is now a refugee fleeing her country. How can she save her people? Is it her duty to rule… She has traveled far during this war to request the aid of her kingdom’s allies, yet she feel sorely equipped to the task. The responsibility of thousands and can she handle it? This song just felt perfect for an artistic reel. Especially an existential kind. He IS a nice person!!! Sometimes 😂 Hey I know I should have learned my lesson about posting on Fridays but I’ve been holding onto this video for over a week and I can’t TAKE it anymore. I can hold all the laughs to myself (and I’ve laughed way too much at this) I’m a sucker for Castlevania audios and inserting my characters into it, we already know this ! But this time around I wanted to showcase my story boarding skills ! No it’s not in color and no the BG doesn’t move but hey this is a START! It could be a little cleaner but the whole point of a story board for specifically feature animation is to capture the emotions and feel of the characters and they’re personalities in scenes so that’s what I did! Super happy with the funny little face they make in this whole scene! 😂🙏 If you really enjoyed this , I would love it if you’d share it, since my engagement has been severely low recently due to my absence. Unpopular opinion: I don’t like sketch books ⬇️ I have never enjoyed sketching in a book filled with many attempts and abandonments. To me personally it’s a waste of time but that’s not to say it’s not valuable. I think it’s a great tool for learning, experimenting and practice. However, it’s not for me. I’ve tried keeping sketch books in the past and I always casted it aside. If anything it would create more frustration and pressure on myself. If I made something I liked and then I tried to recreate it on a different service, to fully commit to the piece, it would never quite be the same. I was never satisfied. All the sketches I post are my one and only attempts. If I have an idea then I want to jump right in and devote all my time towards it. I don’t want to worry about repeating the same thing again and again and risk losing the initial spark. I might change my mind one day but for now it’s what works best for me and my creative journey.
