On a spontaneous bike ride with my boy CT Da Pro, aka The Mayor, we stumbled on a tractor tire. I flipped it, and despite a shoulder injury, his push-ups blew me away. This was a spontaneous workout for two guys who don’t normally train—this rush is real, and this is my new direction.”

DABut Dave I didn’t feel like exercising today. I just wasn’t in the mood and felt down and not like doing anything. My mind was all over the place. I had zero motivation.
It was ok not to exercise right ?
Life can sure be challenging at times and it’s a rollercoaster ride for sure. Humans are emotional beings so we are massively impacted by our emotions.
Obstacles and challenges are all relative to the individual but they are an inevitable part of life.
It’s 100% true that in such times the motivation to exercise will likely be zero BUT it’s at these times that exercise will be your best friend.
Exercise is medicine for the mind.
It’s 100% guaranteed that you will feel better after exercise. 100%!! It’s impossible not to.
Therefore as hard as it may be to get your ass to the gym or to the class or outside or to the room you exercise in at home GET YOUR ASS THERE!!
If you don’t you’re letting the bad guy in your head win who never shuts up and always wants you taking the easier option.
You can’t let him win. You’ll only empower this negative voice and it’ll be even harder to take positive action the following time.
So on days you don’t feel like it remember that exercise is medicine and your best friend so make use of that👍👊

BRJust a few thoughts that have served me well over the years
Not knocking anything/one for the material gain….its more towards the love of it….or obsession to get “more things”
It’s a very dangerous loop that I’ve found to leave us empty…..and if your not careful in debt to something/one else
Just my thoughts on finding purpose beyond it
