ELI finished the Berlin Marathon 2025 in tears because of pain — not knowing I ran the whole race with a stress fracture in my foot... and this guy came up to me at the finish line and said ‚you did amazing‘ Instagram, help me find him!!
since my stress fracture I haven’t been able to run, so I rewatched all my Berlin marathon moments – and that’s when I found this clip. I just think it’s incredibly kind when someone lifts you up like that. that’s literally all I wanted with this video: just say thank you.

AMThere are some dates that divide your life into before and after.
For me, it’s 13th July 2013.
Just a month before that, on 4th June, my brother was at my engagement in Pune.
We danced. We laughed. It was one of those nights where everything felt right.
Nothing seemed unusual after that.
Regular calls. Small conversations. Life going on as it does.
And then came that morning.
My mother called me. Something in her voice felt off.
They couldn’t find him. His phone was switched off.
He had stepped out to go to the bank.
He never reached.
Later, his scooty was found parked outside a railway station.
His wallet was still inside. Nothing was taken. Nothing made sense.
CCTV footage was checked.
Phone records were analysed.
Tracking was done.
But there was no clue.
No message.
No explanation.
Just… silence.
Days turned into months.
Months turned into years.
Festivals came and went.
But his room stayed exactly the same.
Even today, every unknown number makes our hearts race.
Every knock on the door feels like it could be him.
And then, after 13 years… something changed.
Someone updated the profile picture on his Facebook account.
The Crime Branch traced it back to his old number — which had been reissued and was being used by someone else in a village in Uttar Pradesh.
That person had access to the account through the number and made the update.
We have since secured the account and the number is now with us , but we have not received any contact from him.
The case has been reopened.
New technology is being used.
And with it… something we had learned to live without has returned.
Hope.
We still don’t have answers.
But we are trying again.
