TMTrucks aren’t just big — their blind spots are huge. These ‘no-zones’ around a truck can extend over 20 feet in front and far behind the trailer, making smaller vehicles nearly invisible if they stay too close or linger beside them. In the U.S., more than 5,000 people are killed yearly in crashes involving large trucks, and in about one out of three of these crashes, the truck driver never saw the other vehicle because it was in a blind spot.
