WHA few weeks back I was at a Brazilian joint in Framingham and figured I’d eat another spot after so I asked my Facebook followers where to go. A lot of recommendations came in, I love my Facebook peeps. @bourbonsframingham was one of the top suggestions. However, I filled up at the Brazilian spot so we didn’t go that night. I figured I’d come back out this way another day and when I did, Bourbons just felt right. I was greeted by the owner as soon as I walked in. He said alot of his customers been tagging him in my posts (or vice versa) so he was happy to see me. He told me a little about the place and I admired his story.
He worked in the industry and he’s from Framingham. But growing up in Framingham there wasn’t many places where him & his buddies can go to have some drinks and watch a game. All that had was chain restaurants. So when this location became available about 10 years ago, he took a chance on it. He wanted to open a place for him and for the people of Framingham. And from what I took from sitting in that back booth is that his expectations were met. The place was filled with locals. By the time I left you couldn’t even get to the bar. The menu is creative too. The appetizers were great and the sandwiches were solid. Wouldn’t say I was blown away by those but I left satisfied. The spicy Korean sliders are 10/10 in my book though. Must try. Keep crushing it Luke! Love what you’re doing.
