Health benefit of Cabbage Cabbage is a low-calorie, high-fiber vegetable that can support weight management and help reduce belly fat when included in a balanced diet. Its fiber content promotes a feeling of fullness, reducing overall calorie intake. Cabbage is also rich in antioxidants and compounds like sulforaphane, which may support metabolism and reduce inflammation. Combined with regular exercise and healthy eating habits, cabbage can be a valuable addition for targeting belly fat naturally. sometimes clean plate club tendencies can be traced back to the messages we were taught about food & eating decades ago.💔 In the first scenario: -cookies are put on a pedestal -broccoli becomes a chore -some foods have to be “earned” -fullness cues get ignored -body’s “I’m done” gets bypassed -food is a reward system In the second scenario: -cookies are neutral -broccoli is neutral -no food has to be earned -fullness is respected -body’s “I’m done” is honored Struggle with clean plate club tendencies? After I got educated on this topic, it all finally made sense… Lack of sleep disrupts two hormones… ghrelin and leptin, which are responsible for appetite and the feeling of fullness. So lack of sleep itself doesn’t directly make you gain weight… but it does make you eat more. ❤️ #wellness #realtalk

Regular soda is loaded with added sugar, spiking blood glucose and insulin and promoting weight gain and tooth decay. Frequent intake increases inflammation and strains the heart, while acids erode enamel. Liquid sugar doesn’t trigger fullness, so calories add up quickly, raising the risk of metabolic problems. Diet soda avoids sugar but isn’t harmless. Artificial sweeteners can disrupt gut bacteria, increase sweet cravings, and confuse appetite regulation. Carbonation and acids still harm teeth, and caffeine may worsen anxiety or sleep. Relying on diet drinks instead of water can reinforce habits linked to poor long term health over time for people.

The old me thought weight loss meant never ordering the cookie or ice cream. The new me orders it if the craving lingers… enjoys a few bites, and moves on. Turns out supporting the hormones with a natural hormone pack that controls fullness… makes a huge difference. When your body actually sends the “I’m satisfied” signal, you don’t feel the need to finish everything on the plate. Three bites. Full experience. No guilt. 🍪🍦Comment HORMONES for the details on what I use. #womenswellnessjourney #NervousSystemSupport #hormonejourney #naturalsupplements #hormonehealth

Kids don’t need “perfect food” They need better swaps 🧠🍽️ Bhujia ➝ roasted chana (protein + fibre = longer fullness) Cream biscuits ➝ corn chaat (real carbs + minerals) Lollipop ➝ strawberry (natural sugar + vitamin C) Maggi ➝ rice & home food (stable energy, not sugar spikes) Ultra-processed snacks = quick energy → quick crash → more cravings❌ Real foods = steady blood sugar → better focus → happier moods✅ This isn’t about banning treats. It’s about what becomes daily food vs occasional food Save this. Share with parents. Healthy habits > food rules 💚 #healthysnacking #kidsnutrition #instareels #trending #foodswaps

I’ve been seeing more & more videos with “volume hacks” lately, so let’s chat about them. Here are some of my thoughts as a Registered Dietitian: 1️⃣ teaches you to bypass comfortable fullness & eat a large quantify that may not feel physically pleasant just because it’s low calorie 2️⃣ ignores the importance of satisfaction. And satisfaction actually plays a really important role in helpful us regulate & honor fullness! 3️⃣ feeds into labeling food, viewing the lower calorie foods as “good” & higher calorie foods as “bad” 4️⃣ overlooks nutrient density in favor of only focusing on calories. Many energy dense foods are also very nutrient rich. And even if they aren’t… it’s still okay to enjoy them! 5️⃣ encourages you to manipulate hunger by physically filling up on a large volume of food with little calories. Spoiler alert: your hunger will return soon!! Foods vary in energy density and this is not a bad thing. Some foods have more calories, others have less. We benefit from eating a VARIETY of food, including the more energy dense foods too.❤️ Like & follow for tips to create a more positive relationship with food!
