ASI’ve been thinking a lot about the spaces we create to live in.
Ones that are functional, but also actually let us rest and re-energize properly. Not just how long we sleep.
So we changed Bodhi’s room. Moved away from the big chair and went with something much simpler on the floor.
It’s a traditional style futon, just layers of organic cotton, no foam, no synthetics. Underneath is a natural tatami-style mat made from coconut fiber and rush grass, which helps with airflow and keeps things dry.
It feels grounded, simple, and honestly really comfortable.
I’m noticing more and more that when we simplify things, both in the house and in life, everything just feels better.
Still figuring it out as we go, but this feels like a good shift.

di mondo dentro la propria quotidianità.
In Giappone ho imparato
che la semplicità non è rinuncia,
ma libertà.
Lì dormono su futon
appoggiati al tatami,
perché il contatto con la terra ricorda che tutto parte da lì:
il corpo, il respiro, la presenza.
Così, tornando in Italia, abbiamo deciso di ricreare quella stessa armonia anche a casa nostra.
E ci siamo affidati a @e_natura_vicenza di Vicenza,
un’azienda che importa tatami originali dal Giappone
e realizza futon
completamente naturali,
fatti su misura, qui in Italia.
Li abbiamo conosciuti quasi
per caso, ma ci siamo
innamorati della loro cura,
del profumo dei materiali naturali,
e del modo in cui riescono a portare la filosofia giapponese dentro le nostre case.
Non è solo un modo di dormire diverso.
È un modo diverso di stare
al mondo: più semplice, più vero, più vicino a sé stessi.
Perché la felicità
non è cambiare vita.
È imparare ad abitarla nei
piccoli gesti
ogni giorno🌊
Perché alla fine non serve andare
lontano per ritrovare sé stessi.
Serve solo scegliere ogni giorno
cosa vale la pena tenere,
e lasciare andare tutto il resto.

Po ostatnich relacjach często pytaliście o naszą mini kanapę z sypialni — to futon od @futonlove.pl.
Kupiliśmy go „od ręki” tuż przed Świętami, żeby nasi goście mieli gdzie spać… i to był strzał w dziesiątkę 🤍🤍
To podstawowa wersja, idealna do okazjonalnego spania, a okazała się naprawdę super wygodna — goście zadowoleni, a to dla nas najlepsza rekomendacja.
Można z niej zrobić szezlong albo pełne łóżko, więc jest mega praktyczna.
Na razie jest u nas tymczasowo, ale gdy zaczniemy urządzać sypialnię na serio, na pewno znajdziemy dla niej docelowe miejsce.
