I am a big fan of copywriter Eugene Schwartz and his concept “5 levels of Market Sophistication” It has been in the foundation of all my campaigns that has generated well over 35Cr in client revenue in the past 5 years. I am not going to explain this here, since I have already created a detailed video on this topic. It’s on my youtube channel, you can check. I use this principle to outperform competitors in any market… No matter how cluttered the market is. But it’s one thing to understand the logic and theory behind the concept, and another to actually see it implemented. And for the longest time, I was not able to understand how to crack the marketing in a market with level 5 market sophistication. Especially for a coaching business. Until I saw it getting implemented by coaches like Alex Hormozi and Iman Gadzhi. I asked myself… These guys have built fortunes by using direct response marketing. Why are they spending time energy and tons and tons of money on building a personal brand. The answer lies in the 5th level of market sophistication. The 5th level of market sophistication deals with “identity marketing”. And as a coach, the bigger your personal brand is, higher are the chances of you being the biggest identity your target audience want to be associated to. Result- You see a overall increase in the conversion rate across all your campaign and you go from generating 3-5X ROAS to 15-20 and sometimes even 40X ROAS.
