Does This Egg Carton Gardening Hack Really Work For Growing Flower Bulbs? I’ve been seeing a ton of AI gardening videos using egg cartons as a “garden hack” to space out flower bulbs. Supposedly it keeps everything organized and makes planting easier. So I decided to test it myself. In this video, I’m planting Gladiolus bulbs using a basic egg carton as a spacing tray. I poked drainage holes in the bottom, set each bulb into its own compartment, and lightly covered everything with compost to see if this trick actually works in real life. No hype. No shortcuts. Just testing the method and seeing what happens. This is Part 1. Come back for Part 2 to see the results and whether this hack is legit or just another internet gimmick.
