Okay first… I didn’t suddenly become a topper overnight 😌 I was just tired of staring at the same book for 3 hours and still feeling guilty. So I changed the way I study. Instead of reading everything line by line like a “perfect student” 🥲 I started reading like a “smart student” 🧠✨ I gave each chapter 10 minutes ⏱️ Timer on. Phone away. Airplane mode. No excuses. 🚫📱 In those 10 minutes I only: Read headings 📝 Understood the main idea 💡 Checked diagrams & flowcharts 📊 Noticed important terms ⭐ Looked at PYQs 👀 That’s it. No over-highlighting 🎨 No re-reading the same line 5 times 😭 No trying to be perfect. After 10 minutes, I closed the book and asked myself: “Okay… what was this chapter actually about?” 🤔 If I could explain it in simple words — done ✅ If not — 2-minute quick revision 🔁 And then I moved on. Here’s the honest truth 💭 You can’t memorize 5 chapters in one hour. But you can: ✔ Remove the fear ✔ Understand the basics ✔ Build a strong base for revision And sometimes… that’s the real win 🥹✨ Because once fear is gone, studying feels lighter. And lighter study = consistent study 💛📚 #StudyTips #motivation #consistentcy #explore #fyp

Save these for later 💫 Struggling to stay awake while studying? These 5 science-backed strategies will help you study effectively even when you’re exhausted: Tip 1: Caffeine-Nap Trick A cup of coffee or tea followed by a 15-minute power nap will help you wake up feeling more alert. Tip 2: Five-Minute Rule Convince yourself to study for just five minutes. Once you start, you’ll likely find it easier to keep going. Tip 3: Active Recall > Rereading Passive studying won’t work when you’re tired. Instead of reading your notes again, use flashcards, try testing yourself, or explain concepts out loud. Tip 4: Switch Up Your Environment A small change—like moving to a different room or sitting by a window—can help reset your focus and improve concentration. Tip 5: Low-Effort Learning If reading feels impossible, let the information come to you. Listen to an audio summary or watch an educational video. Even a little studying is better than none, so don’t be too hard on yourself. Prioritize rest and take care of yourself! 5 easy ways to actually enjoy studying (as much as you can haha) Change your environment → I stopped forcing myself to study in my room and started going to cafes, libraries, or even just different spots around campus. A fresh environment helps with your mindset + productivity so much more than you might think:) Make it social → Study dates with friends are always such a fun idea/try and go to the library with friends! Even if you’re working on different things, having company makes it so much more enjoyable (and you’re less likely to give up). Reward system → After every study session I do something nice for myself – grab a coffee, watch an episode, go for a walk. Having something to look forward to makes starting so much easier + rewards your brain after working hard so then you will be more likely to want to study the next time:) Good music/ambience → having good music that helps you lock in makes such a difference!! I love noise-cancelling headphones too. Start with the interesting stuff → Instead of forcing myself through boring readings first, I start with topics I’m actually curious about. It gets me in the mood and builds momentum for the harder stuff. Even though these can seem a bit obvious, they do really help especially if you pair them with each other + can help make studying seem a bit more enjoyable haha ‼️if you want more on this I’ve made full guides on productivity, studying efficiently, and building a routine that doesn’t burn you out - link in bio ‼️ #StudyTips #StudyMotivation #UniLife #StudentLife #StudyHacks MotivatedStudent WorkSmarterNotHarder UKStudents

Save this for later 🌙📚 Studying late at night can be hard — but it doesn’t have to feel painful or exhausting. Here’s what actually helps me stay focused at night: 1️⃣ Take a short nap earlier A 20–40 minute power nap in the evening (around 7–9 PM) helps reset your brain. 2️⃣ Use cold water when sleepy Washing your face or wrists with cold water gives your nervous system a quick wake-up. 3️⃣ Keep your lights bright Dim lighting tells your brain it’s time to sleep. Bright white light helps you stay alert. 4️⃣ Don’t study on your bed A chair + desk keeps your brain in “work mode,” not sleep mode. 5️⃣ Stay hydrated One cup of coffee or tea is fine — but don’t rely on caffeine. Sip water instead. 6️⃣ Try the 25–5 rule Study for 25 minutes, take a 5-minute break. Repeat a few rounds, then rest longer. 7️⃣ Switch tasks when tired If reading theory makes you sleepy, switch to: • practice questions • flashcards • quick revision 8️⃣ Keep the room slightly cool A cooler room helps you stay awake longer. 9️⃣ Eat light at night Heavy food = instant sleepiness. 🔟 Read out loud or explain concepts Pretend you’re teaching someone — it keeps your brain active. #study #school #uni #student

1. Not everything is worth being memorized. Don't overwhelm yourself with useless information, get the essential, understand the whole. 2. Be selective. Only 20% of what you learn will be at the test. ( 20% of what you learn gives 80% results ) ---> end of topic questions, when the teacher pauses a lot or repeats, past papers... 3. Turn your phone to black and white mode (greyscale) and only use it while standing or walking. Want to sit down? Put your phone away. 4. The 1 hour rule The hour after school ends - no phone. Connect with reality not what ain't concerning you anyways. 5. Sleep, food and sport. Recharging battery 🔋 is essential. Sleep to recover, food (I ain't talking about sweets and fast food) for energy and sport to relieve stress. 6. Used evolving study packages. - One per test, adding notes and examples after each class. Read through it once after school every 1-2 days 7. Hydrate as much as possible Isn't optional - it feeds your neurons (that's why you get headaches when you don't drink enough) 8. Learn to manage your time, it's a key factor to succeed. Practice regularly. 9. Track progress It releases dopamine (happiness/need of more) and will get you that addictive side effect. E.g Goal : studying 90 minutes, break down Into 30 min blocks - check ✅ a box everytime you finished a 30 min session 10. Beat perfectionism. It is never about how pretty something is, but always about how practical it is. 11. Learn from mistakes The brain retains more about what you did wrong than right. 12. identify high-impact tasks (Pareto Principle) and focus on them 13. Think outside the box. The weirder you study the more memorable it gets. (I'll teach you with pleasure, check out my page) 14. Find your why Study with a purpose behind it - obsession beats talent everytime So, what's the grind for ? @jaeyunstudio #kpop #studytips #study #student #studymotivation #toxicstudymotivation

Study LESS, learn MORE. It’s not about cramming for hours—it’s about how you study. Here’s how to maximize your learning with less time: 🧠 Active Recall – Stop rereading. Quiz yourself instead. The more you struggle to remember, the stronger the memory gets. ✍️ Scribble Method – Use your non-dominant hand to doodle messy scribbles while studying. It keeps your brain engaged and improves retention. 📢 Feynman Technique – If you can’t teach it simply, you don’t understand it. Break it down as if you’re explaining it to a child. 💻 Second Brain – Organize your notes digitally so you can quickly find, review, and connect key concepts. It’s not about how long you study—it’s about how efficiently you learn.

Read caption! Here are some easy methods to study less but get better grades through memory and retention. Here’s how they work: Gum Method 🍬 This memory hack feels too easy to work… but it does.
Chew the same gum while you study and again during your exam.
Your brain links the flavor to the info you learned — triggering recall when you need it most. It’s weirdly effective. Try it.
Scribble Method ✍️ Struggle to focus? Do this while reading. It’s called the scribble method — and it works. When you’re losing focus, just start drawing random shapes or circles on a page. The motion activates your brain and locks in what you’re reading. Perfect for long study sessions.
Clench Method ✊ Your body remembers more than you think. The clench method is a brain hack that links physical movement to memory. Lightly clench your fist while learning something important. Then do the same when trying to recall it later. Your brain makes the connection.
