Credits to @pi.mathematica, Journey to Absolute Infinity 🤯 Witness the mind-boggling scale of numbers, starting from zero and counting up through everyday magnitudes (Ones, Tens, Billions) before diving into the realm of really big numbers. The video flashes through astronomical names like Femtillion, Googolplex, Gigillion, Gigolplex, and many more, using advanced mathematical notation (like Knuth’s up-arrow, Steinhaus-Moser, and Conway chained arrows) to represent magnitudes far beyond comprehension. The journey culminates in concepts like Rayo’s number, Omega squared , the Weakly Compact cardinal (K), and finally, the philosophical concept of Absolute Infinity. Description: An epic, high-speed countdown showing the names and notations of increasingly larger numbers, from basic counting units all the way up to concepts representing ultimate infinity. #Math #BigNumbers #Googolplex #AbsoluteInfinity #Mathematics #MindBlown #Science #Gigillion #Gagol #Infinity

Did you know Google’s name came from a simple mistake? The name “Google” was inspired by the word “googol,” meaning one followed by a hundred zeros. It showed their goal to organize a huge amount of information. But it all started when Sean Anderson suggested “googolplex.” Larry Page shortened it to “googol,” but Anderson accidentally typed "google" when checking the domain, and that’s how the name was born. Larry Page once said, "Lots of companies don’t succeed over time. What do they fundamentally do wrong? They usually miss the future." Small mistakes can lead to big things. Take risks, embrace the unexpected, and keep moving forward. ➝ 𝗙𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 @evancarmichael #Believe #Google #Entrepreneurship #Success #Innovation #Mistakes #Growth #Leadership #Googol

The journey from zero toward "Absolute Infinity" reveals a scale of numbers that far exceeds the physical capacity of our universe. Created by Mathis R.V., this visual exploration catalogs the progression of named numbers, from familiar digits to mind-bending entities like a googolplex, which has more zeros than there are atoms in the observable world. follow @PastInsider for more As the scale increases, we move into the realm of "large number philosophy," encountering titans like Graham’s Number and Rayo’s Number. These figures are so immense that they cannot be written out or even visualized; they exist only through complex mathematical definitions. Eventually, the list reaches the concept of Absolute Infinity, a term coined by mathematician Georg Cantor to describe a theoretical point that transcends all other transfinite numbers. This visualization serves as a reminder of the infinite nature of mathematics compared to our finite human experience. While we use small numbers for daily life, these "googolisms" help scientists and philosophers map the boundaries of logic and the potential vastness of reality. It highlights that no matter how large a number we can name, there is always something greater waiting in the void of the infinite. #science #math #history #infinity #numbers

The journey from zero toward “Absolute Infinity” unveils a scale of numbers that vastly exceeds the physical limits of our universe. Created by Mathis R.V., this visual exploration traces the progression of named numbers—from familiar figures to staggering constructs such as a googolplex, which contains more zeros than there are atoms in the observable universe. As the scale expands, we enter the domain of large-number philosophy, encountering mathematical giants like Graham’s Number and Rayo’s Number. These quantities are so enormous that they cannot be fully written out or meaningfully visualized; they exist only through precise and highly abstract definitions. The sequence culminates in the concept of Absolute Infinity, a term introduced by Georg Cantor to describe a theoretical magnitude beyond all other transfinite numbers. This visualization underscores the boundless nature of mathematics in contrast to finite human experience. While everyday life relies on modest quantities, these extreme numerical constructs—sometimes called “googolisms”—push the limits of logic and illuminate the conceptual vastness of reality. No matter how large a number we can name, mathematics always permits something greater beyond it. #science #math #history #infinity #numbers

Most people think a million or a billion is a huge number. Mathematics disagrees. Completely. 🤯 First comes a Googol — a 1 followed by 100 zeros. That’s already far larger than most quantities we ever deal with. Then there’s a Googolplex. It’s 1 followed by a Googol zeros so many digits that you couldn’t physically write the number even if the entire universe was paper. 📜 Now things get absurd. Mathematicians discovered something called Graham’s Number while solving a problem in Ramsey theory. It’s so enormous that writing its digits is impossible. Even the observable universe doesn’t have enough particles to store the number. But somehow… mathematics still keeps going. There’s a number called TREE(3) that makes Graham’s Number look almost small. TREE(3) is so large that our usual mathematical notation completely breaks down trying to describe it. And here’s the weird thought experiment. If you somehow tried to store a number that large physically, the information density could become so extreme that it might theoretically collapse into a black hole. That’s how absurdly massive some numbers in mathematics really are If concepts like this blow your mind, follow @quasar_questt. I break down the strangest ideas in physics, space, and mathematics so anyone can understand them. biggest numbers in mathematics, googol and googolplex explained, grahams number explained, tree 3 number explanation, largest numbers ever discovered, extreme numbers in math, ramsey theory grahams number, numbers bigger than the universe, mathematical infinity concepts, mind blowing math facts

The Math They Didn’t Teach You in School 🤯 Think you know big numbers? 🤨 Think again. We’re moving past millions, billions, and trillions into the realm of Knuth’s up-arrows and Graham’s Number. By the end of this video, we’re entering the "Fast-Growing Hierarchy" where numbers become so large that the universe literally doesn't have enough room to write them down. 🌌 Which level did you stop understanding? “Googolplex-250312” read by Charlotte. The number googol, a one with a hundred zeros, is larger than the number of grains of sand on earth. But googolplex is countless times larger, namely ten to the power of googol. That’s more than the number of atoms in the universe. No time nor space to ever write that down and yet it fits in my mind. #largenumbers #googolplex #googol #univers #cosmos #spaceart #videokunst #animatiekunst #inkdrawings #soundart #zwartwitkunst #pentekening #haarlemkunst

My sons were playing the classic “which number is bigger” game the other day, and the difference between a googol and a googolplex came up. When you say it out loud (“a googol is a one followed by a hundred zeros, and a googolplex is a one followed by a googol zeros”), it doesn’t necessarily sound like the numbers are that different. In reality, however, the numbers are massively, exponentially far apart from each other. To illustrate just how vast this difference is, let’s take a moment to break it down with some more familiar numbers. Imagine comparing something like a million to a billion. A million seconds is about 11.5 days, while a billion seconds is nearly 32 years. Now, multiply that sense of scale by an unimaginable factor, and you’re starting to get the idea.
