Something i think about quite often that brings me both awe and terror but also profound comfort is that were you to be omnipotent, to have neither a beginning nor end, to know everything and be a part of everything the single thing you wouldn't know is what it means to be mortal, to suffer, to die, to be unsure, to have to strive for better things. The one thing God couldn't know is what it means to be mortal and so we are a way for the universe to experience itself. We are as large in number and diverse as we are not because some of us are innately better than others but because we each are playing a character best suited for us, till every kind of experience possible has occured and every aspect a person can have has been fullfilled collevtively, and i think though only allah knows i guess, when this world has run its course we'll all be one and get a complete picture. So all you have to do is be the best and most distinctky unequivocably you you can be and in so doing you've embodied an essential aspect of a humanity so vast you not only could never comprise it on your own but couldn't even conciece of it.
