Who was gonna tell me OVER 85% of the grass fed beef in America IS NOT FROM AMERICA, even when we have fat shiny “product of the USA” labels slapped on the packaging??? 😳😳😳 It’s one thing to go out of your way to eat healthy, grass fed beef. It’s another entirely to know where it comes from 👀 Absolutely insisting you try Good Ranchers for you & your family if you haven’t already—just knowing your freezer is full of American family ranch-grown meat is peace of mind… and it tastes WAY better than (probably foreign) grocery store stuff to boot 🫶 They gave me a code for you guys to use - type in ISABEL on your first order or use the 🔗 in my bio for a discount!

This is what it actually takes to feed a family of 5 real food for one week. Notice how there’s nothing processed here. Just real food. #realfood #whatieat #groceryhaul Share this with a loved one ✨ This week’s haul includes: canned oysters 100% grass fed beef liver 3 dozen pasture raised eggs (corn free, soy free, organic) 3lbs 100% Grass-fed ground beef 3 lbs pasture raised ground turkey with the organ blend 5+ lbs 100% grass fed brisket 4lb whole chicken 6 cups homemade gelatinous chicken broth Local/Seasonal produceIngredients to make ferments like sauerkraut and kvassFermented buckwheat for bread and muffins Raw, local, unfiltered honey RO water: remineralized, restructured Homemade cookies And here’s what most people get wrong…it’s not about spending more. It’s about knowing what matters. When you understand: how to stretch a whole chicken /how to use bones, scraps, and leftovers / how to build meals from ingredients instead of packages / how or where to shop seasonally and intentionally… Your grocery cart changes. Your confidence changes. Your home changes. Everything changes! Most women aren’t overwhelmed because cooking is hard. They’re overwhelmed because no one ever taught them the foundations. That’s exactly why I created The Nourishing Kitchen Masterclass. If you want to stop guessing and start leading your kitchen with clarity — get started today! Comment “real food” and I’ll send you the info. Because this isn’t about groceries. It’s about building a home that knows how to nourish itself.

Let’s break this down👇 People have a false belief that just because something came from Trader Joe’s, it’s automatically healthy. Trader Joe’s is not a health store. It’s like any other grocery store. Most of their packaged food is processed junk, not much better than what you can get at a conventional grocery store. They do have plenty of quality items as well - typically the single ingredient products (think coconut oil, grass fed beef, organic blueberries, organic potatoes). As well as a few hidden gem specialty items. But like any other store - make sure to read the labels… because it’s typically not good. As far as the produce, in a perfect world you’d get local produce that hasn’t been shipped across the country (it’s not ALL from Mexico). But if Trader Joe’s is accessible and affordable to you, and you’re eating single ingredient foods, that’s still a good option 🙌🏻 If you want a rundown on some good finds at Trader Joe’s, comment below and I’ll make a follow up video👇 👉 I also have a Grocery Guide full of safe swaps for every aisle at the grocery store, available through the link in my bio. There are a few Trader Joe’s items listed in the Guide. Jared #groceries #traderjoes #traderjoeslist #healthyswaps #readthelabels #ingredientsmatter

This is a bad idea… Sure, iodine is a very important mineral for your body… But, it’s quite easy to overdose it and cause thyroid issues… If you want to ensure you’re getting enough iodine without overdoing it, opt for foods like raw dairy, eggs, grass fed beef and wild-caught fish that’s low in heavy metals… In the end, animal foods are the best source of the most essential nutrients for optimal health… Make animal foods the center of your diet and you will thrive… Welcome to #theremembering 🏹

I don’t have cheat days that include foods I know will hurt me. That means no popcorn at the movies 🍿, no ice cream, no wheat and most grains, no sugary treats, no seed oils, no artificial ingredients, no preservatives, and no nitrites. Why? Because nothing tastes as good as healthy feels 😌. For me, those “fun” foods usually turn into brain fog, bloating, joint pain or a wave of fatigue, and that trade off is just not worth it❗️ Feeling clear, energized and pain free is my real treat 😀. So I created my own version of a cheat day. I will happily order a three pattie burger made with grass fed beef, wrapped in a crisp lettuce bun 🥬. I skip the mayonnaise and ketchup because of the sugar, and load it up with mustard, sugar free pickles and onions instead. It tastes amazing and my body feels fantastic afterward. I choose indulgences that feel like a celebration for my body, not a punishment. What would a “cheat day” look like for you if it still had to make your body feel good the next day?

We often talk about food is medicine and while Food is a zero risk protocol for healing, and should be included in any treatment plan for chronic illness, perhaps the most important thing we can do is get all of the toxic and inflammatory offenders out of our diet. This might look different for you than it does for me. We’re all individuals for someone who is struggling with a hyper vigilant immune system, nightshades my pose, a significant inflammatory response. For others that might not be the case. If you’re struggling with an overactive immune system and systemic inflammation one of the best first steps, you can take to reduce your diet to a very simple, nutrient, dense, and low inflammatory list of foods. Here’s a great place to start: Grass fed beef, fresh fruit, raw honey, bone broth, and pastured eggs. #antiinflammatorydiet #healthtransformation #autoimmune

You’ve been lied to about steak babes … You’ve been told to avoid red meat or eat it sparingly but here’s the real raw truth. A steak just might be one of the most nutritionally dense foods you can consume and you can literally build muscle, smooth wrinkles and heal joints by adding this protein to your meal prep menu. Let me break it down for you : Beef is a B12 powerhouse. A 3-oz serving of cooked beef top sirloin provides ~1.6 µg B12 (about two-thirds of the daily value) — a vitamin that’s scarce in plant foods and essential for DNA synthesis, nerves, and red blood cells. National Agricultural Library Beef has Highly bioavailable iron (heme). Beef supplies heme iron, which the body absorbs more efficiently than non-heme iron from plants; USDA FoodData Central Huge Zinc & selenium density. Red meat is a concentrated source of zinc (immune, wound healing) and selenium(thyroid support, antioxidant enzymes). (USDA FDC reference). Creatine & carnosine (hard to get from plants). The Typical creatine content in beef is roughly 0.4–1.0 g per 3–4 oz cooked; most plants contain virtually none. Organ meats are off-the-charts nutrient-dense. For context, beef liver (pan-fried) delivers ~67 µg B12 per ~80 g, plus preformed vitamin A and choline — illustrating why many traditional diets valued offal. A 2022 meta-analysis of randomized trials found unprocessed red meat intake did NOT raise CRP (a key inflammation marker); effects seen for “total/mixed” meat were driven largely by processed products. Adding red meat to higher-protein diets improved muscle outcomes without increasing inflammatory markers — helpful for healthy aging and sarcopenia risk. Red Meat is rich in connective tissue and are direct sources of collagen and collagen precursor amino acids like proline and glycine which the body uses as building blocks for skin. The takeaway: Eat a steak ! It’s natures collagen and can literally help you age backwards. Always choose high quality and grass fed beef. When I introduce eggs to baby, I start with the yolk only. Here’s why 👇🏼 🥚 1. The yolk is where the nutrition lives. Choline for brain development. Vitamin B12 for the nervous system. Fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K2 for bone growth and immune function. Bioavailable iron. Healthy cholesterol — which babies need for cell membranes and hormone development. The yolk is a powerhouse. 🥚 2. The white is more allergenic. Egg white contains most of the egg’s allergenic proteins (like ovalbumin). Starting with yolk allows us to introduce the nutrient-dense portion first and observe tolerance before moving to the whole egg. 🥚 3. It’s easier to digest. The yolk is rich in fats and enzymes that support digestion, while the white is almost entirely protein. For a brand new digestive system, I prefer to go gently. 🥚 4. It supports structural development. From a traditional nutrition lens, fat-soluble vitamins and cholesterol played a critical role in proper skeletal and craniofacial development. Egg yolks were prized for a reason. After a few successful exposures, I’ll combine yolk with other nutrient-dense foods — like a pinch of desiccated beef liver — to build meals that actually meet a baby’s nutritional needs. Because first foods aren’t just for fun. They’re about building a foundation. C0mment LIVER for the grass fed beef liver capsules I give to my baby #NutrientDenseBaby #AncestralMotherhood #FirstFoods

There’s never any reason ever to eat “junk food” or go to McDonalds. Healthy food is delicious, nutritious and affordable…you just need to stop listening to the dogma and start listening to your body. The healthiest foods in the world are also the most delicious because that is what your body thrives on. Something tastes great when it’s good for you…but junk food companies hijack this mechanism and use it to poison us with cheap alternatives instead. Everything we think of as garbage can be made healthy Burgers with sourdough and grass fed beef Pizza with real cheese, organic tomatoes and sourdough Ice cream with raw milk and honey Getting healthy doesn’t have to be a chore. Eat the foods we’ve been eating forever. It’s that simple.
