This cloud appeared at sunset, displaying colors that looked almost unreal. There was no storm. No rain. The sky was completely calm. The phenomenon lasted only a few moments and vanished without a trace. Most likely, it was a rare iridescent cloud — an optical effect that occurs when sunlight diffracts through tiny water droplets or ice crystals in high, thin clouds, creating shimmering rainbow-like colors.

People may refer to this as a Shelf cloud, possibly even a Roll cloud, or by it's scientific name, Arcus cloud. But regardless of what it's called, the fact remains: this formation is ultimately the result of geoengineering activity.

What does the sky look like in your area? Clouds are like bunches of tiny water drops or ice bits in the sky. They form when water vapour condenses high up in the air. Clouds come in different shapes depending on how high, big, thick, or see-through they are. The main types are cirrus, cumulus, stratus, and nimbus. > Cirrus: Cirrus clouds form high up (8,000 - 12,000m), look feathery, and are thin and white. > Cumulus: Cumulus clouds look like cotton wool, form at 4,000 - 7,000m, and have a flat base, appearing in scattered patches. > Stratus: Stratus clouds cover large parts of the sky in layers. They form when the air cools or different temperature air masses mix. > Nimbus clouds are dark and form mid-level or close to the earth’s surface. They are dense, blocking sunlight, and can appear shapeless, almost touching the ground. An incredible view of stratocumulus undulatus clouds. This cloud type signifies up and down air flow motions. • 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐎𝐂𝐔𝐌𝐔𝐋𝐔𝐒 𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐒: This 𝐂𝐋𝐎𝐔𝐃 𝐓𝐘𝐏𝐄 is recognizable by its fluffy low level altitude cloud patches in nice parallel rows. • 𝐃𝐄𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐋𝐒: Stratocumulus undulatus clouds formation is due to the wavy motion of the air flow in earth’s atmosphere. Undulatus clouds are affected by the wind shearing of two different airstreams. Air moving above the clouds interacts with air moving (at a differing rate/direction) below the clouds, producing the notable rows of “undulating” clouds. “Unda” is Latin for “wave.” Stratocumulus undulatus clouds occur at differing heights, but are generally more lower level clouds. Pilots consider any type of undulatus cloud as a sign of potential turbulence. • 𝐕𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐨 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭: @cora.a.harris • • • • • • • • • • • • • • 𝐅𝐎𝐋𝐋𝐎𝐖 @cora.a.harris

• Polar stratospheric clouds (PSCs), also called nacreous clouds, are rare, colorful clouds that form in the stratosphere at high altitudes (15–25 km) and extremely low temperatures, below -78°C (-108°F). They are most commonly observed in polar regions during winter when sunlight is low on the horizon. . . Undulatus Asperatus Clouds ☁️🤍 These clouds have a dark, wavy appearance, almost as if the sky is in a state of turmoil. They often look like the rough, churning surface of a lake, but seen from below 〰️ They form when air at the base of the cloud is being pushed downward, creating the rippling, wave-like shapes ✨ 🎥: @//608653257 tt #sky #inlove #inlove😍 #inlove💕 #cloudlovers #cloud #paradise #cloudchasing #clouds #asperitasclouds #asperitasstrong #nature #naturephotography

These breathtaking formations are called Polar Stratospheric Clouds ❄️🌈 They form high above Earth, at altitudes of around 15–25 km, where temperatures drop below –78°C. What makes them special? Unlike normal clouds, these are made of tiny ice crystals and nitric acid, which bend sunlight and create rainbow-like, glowing colors — often making the sky look unreal or alien ✨ They are extremely rare, visible mostly near the polar regions during winter, and for just a short time after sunset or before sunrise. Nature’s reminder that Earth still hides wonders we’ve barely explored 🌍✨
