HEA gyroscope survives as it rotates, thanks to the preservation of angular momentum. Angular torque depends on the rotation, speed, mass and shape of an object. A rotating gyroscope resists changes in orientation, the gyroscope suffers from gyroscope imagery when a force tries to tilt it.

ASA gyroscope is a device that measures or maintains orientation and angular velocity. At its core, it operates based on the principles of angular momentum and rotational motion. When a spinning object, such as a wheel or rotor, is mounted in such a way that its axis can move freely in one or more directions, it tends to resist changes to its orientation. This resistance to changes in orientation is what makes gyroscopes valuable in navigation and motion-sensing applications.
The traditional mechanical gyroscope consists of a spinning wheel or disk mounted on a gimbal. The gimbal allows the disk to rotate freely in multiple directions. Once the disk is spinning rapidly, its axis of rotation remains pointed in the same direction, regardless of the motion of the base. This effect is due to the conservation of angular momentum, which states that a spinning object will maintain its motion unless acted upon by an external force. As a result, the orientation of the spinning axis serves as a stable reference point.
