🪽Is it a web app? This is a native desktop app built with Electron that works on any system with the tradeoff that it’s heavier than some platform specific approaches
🎧How did you load in the songs? I loaded the .mp3 files of the songs into my asset folder.
🎨 How do you ensure that your final developed product is consistent with your design? I like using the Figma auto-layout & dev mode combo to ensure I can fully replicate my design in code.

FACT: We ALWAYS look up and see the same side of the moon; we NEVER see its other side (known as “the far side of the moon”). How can this fact be?
•
BEAUTIFUL ANSWER: “The moon’s orbital period AND rotation period are BOTH 27.3 days, so their RATIO IS 1:1 EXACTLY.” — Joshua Edward Barnes, University of Hawaii.

IN ABSOLUTE AWE: It’s honestly a fascinating thing of physics — as the moon spins around on it’s own axis, it ALSO goes along EXACTLY at a perfect orbit speed of revolution AROUND earth. Therefore the same side of the moon ALWAYS FACES earth.
•
SYNCHRONOUS ROTATION: Both the spin and the orbit revolution are timed in perfect synchronization together!! This is a favorite fact of mine about God’s creation. It’s absolutely awesome!!

KEY POINT: Sunlight illuminates half the earth and half the moon AT ALL TIMES. The moon phases are caused by the differing amount of the moon’s surface that is lit by the sun as seen from earth. The moon completes one cycle of phases in ~29.5 days. This is known as the “lunar month” or “synodic month.”
•
DEEPER DETAILS: “The moon’s sidereal orbital period (the sidereal month) is ~27.3 days; this is the time interval that the moon takes to orbit 360° around the earth relative to the “fixed” stars. The period of the lunar phases (the synodic month), e.g. the full moon to full moon period, is longer at ~29.5 days (due to the motion of earth’s orbit around the sun).” — Durham University, UK.

Caveat: the Moon does rotate in this simple simulation (you have to look closely due to Instagram poor compressione algorithm), otherwise we would not see the same face from Earth (because of Tidal Locking)

The moon phases are the changing appearances of the moon as it orbits Earth. The phases are caused by the different amounts of the moon's surface that are illuminated by the sun.
There are eight main moon phases:
New moon: The moon is not visible in the sky because its entire surface is facing away from the sun.
Waxing crescent: The moon begins to appear in the sky as a thin crescent.
First quarter: The moon is half illuminated.
Waxing gibbous: The moon becomes more and more illuminated until it is nearly full.
Full moon: The moon is completely illuminated.
Waning gibbous: The moon begins to lose its illumination as it moves away from the sun.
Last quarter: The moon is half illuminated again.
Waning crescent: The moon becomes a thinner and thinner crescent until it disappears from the sky.
The moon completes one cycle of phases in about 29.5 days. This is called a lunar month.

This is a wonderful animation that shows us the MOON PHASES.
They are 8.
The Moon moves in SYNCHRONY with the Earth and completes a revolution on itself at the same time as it completes a rotation around the Earth.
The DARK SIDE is simply the one not visible to us.
1 New Moon: In this phase, the Moon is positioned between the Earth and the Sun, making the illuminated part completely invisible to us. This moment marks the beginning of the lunar cycle.
2 First Quarter: About a week after the new Moon, the Moon has completed about a quarter of its orbit. We can now see half of its illuminated surface, forming a "D" shape.
3 Full Moon: When the Moon is on the opposite side of the Earth from the Sun, the entire surface facing us is illuminated, making it fully visible.
4 Last Quarter: After the full Moon, the Moon continues its journey around the Earth. Another week later, the other half of the Moon is illuminated, but this time the visible shape is a reversed "C".
In addition to these main phases, there are the waxing and waning phases, which refer to the transition periods between the main phases, when the portion of the illuminated Moon appears gradually larger (waxing) or smaller (waning).

BLUE MOON ::: means that in the same month there are two FULL MOONS ((the interval is always 29½ days) and the second is called BLUE MOON.
BLACK MOON ::: When in the same month there are two new moons, the second is called BLACK MOON.
SYNODIC MONTH ::: lunar month ... 29½ days.
SIDERAL MONTH ::: actual time taken by the Moon to make a 360 ° turn around the Earth ... duration 27 days and 8 h.
The time difference is due to the advancement of the Earth in its orbit around the Sun.
