Hand modeling isn’t as easy as it looks. There are countless moving parts behind the scenes that viewers never see — from food styling and props to lighting setups and the camera crew, just to name a few. While the product remains the focus, the role of a hand model is to bring it to life through a carefully choreographed sequence, where timing, angles, and movement speed must align perfectly with the camera to showcase it at its best. Just like actors, hand models rehearse their gestures before the cameras roll. Every motion has to feel natural and effortless — even under hot lights and a room full of people, sometimes clients live-streaming in from another state or country. Like any craft, it takes real practice and patience. I’m incredibly grateful to do what I love and to work alongside such talented creatives and industry pros. 🤝🏼🙌🏼👏🏼

Yes, you have an incredible talent as an actor for TV and film and commercials, but let’s not forget that your beautiful smile and personality can serve print work, your voice has an unmistakable fingerprint that qualifies you for voiceover and even things like your hands and your feet are worthy of work! ✨ Don’t limit yourself! In an industry that is constantly changing, and where we all have to be creative and be “ multi-hyphenates“ to sustain a living as an actor, consider that things like print work and hand modeling are also available to you. They don’t get the shine or the accolades that TV and film receive, but you can make really good money that can allow you to live comfortably in between those TV and film jobs.
