Embrace the extraordinary, now boarding @himitsustation is a brand new Japanese themed immersive escape experience in downtown SLC. Built in a haunted hotel basement, this new attraction completely immerses you into a new world the moment you walk in. Intricate attention to detail, this is a passion project by one local couple and what they have created is an incredible, unique, must do attraction! Uncover the Forgotten Markets, a lost world travellers find themselves in while waiting for their train at Himistu Station. Meet shopkeeps, collect coins, uncover secrets, and solve puzzles. I have done 3 escape rooms and this is hands down the best I've been to. Studio Ghibli vibes, and lots of freedom within the rooms, fun for anyone who is new to escape rooms as well. Plenty of replay value too as you are also trying to collect as many soul tokens as possible during your time. Tickets are $65/person and available on their website. The price is a bit steep, but you’re noticeably getting an elevated experience compared to other escape rooms. Groups of up to 8 can go, but l’m told the optimal amount is 6ish.
