You need to follow what I call the triple hook method:
1. The Visual Hook
This is what people see in your video whether it’s you doing some sort of movement or a pattern interrupt or using a prop.
2. The Written Hook
This is the floating title or the title card that shows up for the first few seconds of your video that people are reading that confirms to them what the video is about.
3. The Verbal Hook
This is what you say in a video and this is equally if not more important than the others because what you also say in the video needs to match what the visuals are and what the red hook is so that all three can work together.
So next time you go to make a video, make sure you have all three of these in place and I can guarantee you you’ll get more views on your videos.
