When you’re early in your investing journey you usually want less than 10% of your portfolio in dividend-focused ETFs or REITs. Why? Because in the beginning it’s all about growth and letting your money compound. Passive income is incredible but it makes more sense later when you’re focused on cash flow over long-term growth.
