The foolproof method for making a 🔥steak ↓ 1️⃣ Bring steak to Room Temperature - Let your steak sit at room temperature for at least 30-45 minutes before cooking. This ensures even cooking and prevents the center from staying cold while the outside overcooks. 2️⃣ Pat It Dry & Season - Moisture is the enemy of a perfect crust pat the steak completely dry with paper towels before seasoning. - Season just before cooking with kosher salt & freshly cracked black pepper for the best crust. (- Optional:Dry-brine the steak by salting it 1-2 hours before cooking for deeper flavor and a drier surface (better sear). 3️⃣ Heat the Pan & use a high smoke point oil - Stainless steel needs proper preheating!Heat the pan on medium-high for 2-3 minutes before adding oil. Add avocado oil to prevent burning. 4️⃣ The Perfect Sear: Leave It Alone - Lay the steak in the pan and DO NOT TOUCH IT for at least 2-3 minutes. This allows for a deep, golden crust to form. - Flip when the bottom releases naturally (if it sticks, it’s not ready yet). 5️⃣ Baste - Once flipped, add butter, garlic, and thyme to the pan. - Tilt the pan slightly and use a spoon to continuously baste the steak with the infused butter—this keeps it juicy and adds insane flavor. 6️⃣ Check the Internal Temp to make sure - Rare– 120-125°F - Medium Rare– 130-135°F - Medium– 140-145°F - Medium Well– 150-155°F - Well Done– 160°F+ - Pro Tip:Pull the steak 5°F before your target temp** since it will continue cooking as it rests. 7️⃣ Rest Before Slicing - Let your steak rest for at least 5-10 minutesso the juices redistribute and don’t run out when slicing. - Slice against the grainfor maximum tenderness. Enjoy your perfect steak! Ps, just in time for Valentine’s Day, now go surprises that date! 💘😉 #howtocook #howtocooksteak #cookingtips #easyrecipes #valentines #steak #simplerecipes How do you like your steak?

How to cook steak 🥩 Sign up for my newsletter to keep up to date with recipes and cooking techniques! Comment “NEWSLETTER” and I’ll send you a link to your DMs to join my community! I believe anyone and everyone can cook a great steak! Steak seems intimidating because of the high cost, but it is quite simple as long as you follow the tips. Ingredients: * 1 thick steak like filet mignon * salt and pepper * Avocado oil or high smoke point oil * 2 tbsp unsalted butter * 3 cloves of garlic, smashed * 2 sprigs rosemary * 2 sprigs thyme Instructions: STEP 1. Salt and pepper the steak at least an hour before for optimal flavor. Pat dry with a paper towel. STEP 2. Preheat oven to 400*F. STEP 3. In a stainless steel pan or cast iron, heat your pan to medium high heat. Coat with oil and once hot add your steak presentation side down. Make sure the pan isn’t smoking. After you get a nice sear, and do this with all sides. On the last side flip the steak over and decrease heat to medium low. Add butter, garlic, rosemary and thyme, and baste the steak with butter, using a spoon. Baste for about 1-2 minutes and transfer to the oven. STEP 4. Check your steak’s internal temperature after 3-5 minutes to see where you are at. If your internal meat thermometer reads in the 120s-130s, your steak is done. If not, leave in the oven until the internal temperature is where you want it. Remove the steak and rest on a cool plate. STEP 5. Rest your steak, do not slice it yet! If you slice too early, all of the juices will run out and your steak will be dry. Rest for 10 minutes and then enjoy! #filetmignon #steakcookery #steak Pan used was my @hestanculinary NanoBond skillet!

How to Cook a Steak 🥩 I get asked this a ton and this is my go to method. Especially for expensive and thick cut steaks like this tomahawk ribeye, the reverse sear method is the answer. My biggest tip would be use the reverse sear method and get a meat thermometer. As for getting a great crust, dry brining helps a ton, I like to do it for at least 2 hours in my fridge. #steak #tomahawksteak #ribeye #reversesear

HOW TO COOK FILLET STEAK. Stick to my fool proof method to achieve melt in the mouth, blushing pink medium rare every time. One of most expensive cuts of beef, you don’t wanna mess it up. If you aren’t confident on cooking a steak by touch, invest in a meat probe. 1. Remove the steak from the fridge 45 minutes before cooking 2. Drizzle with steak with oil, season generously with salt 3. Heat a tiny splash of oil in a frying pan over a medium high heat 4. Add the steak (if it’s doesn’t sizzle take it out) simply leave the steak to cook for around 2 minutes until it has a nice colour and caramelised 5. Flip over, cook for another 2 minutes 6. Now turn the steak on to the side, cook for around 20-30 seconds moving it continuously around until all edges are seared 5. Add some butter to the pan, when it’s foaming tilt the pan and use a spoon to baste the steak in butter for 30 seconds 6. Remove to a wire rack, pour over any butter from the pan. Rest for 6 minutes 7. Slice into thin strips, season with salt and pepper Serve #steak #steaksauce #howtocooksteak #fillet #beefillet #homecook #foodporn #steaksauce #instachef #mediumrare #instagram #reels #meat #wagyu #butter #hexclad Fillet steak
