This drawing is about a simple theme, i.e- being Oblivious, as the title suggested. I’m not sure how many of you would relate to this theme and this is somewhat of a callout to anyone who has felt this. And I’m not talking about how the more knowledge you acquire, the more you’ll be aware of your own lack of knowledge, its not about that, its much simpler, just the feeling that you’re behind on the basics of society. I’d prefer not over explaining it so let me know your thoughts below!

SLI love hyperrealism because to me it feels like magic, a beautiful trick played on the eyes of the viewer. When you get close to a painting you see abstract shapes, tonal values, lines and small details that on their own don’t mean much. But when you step back everything comes together and comes to life, as if all those elements start playing in harmony. For me that moment is pure magic. Hyperrealism is a lie disguised as reality.
