On airport days, we zip our backpacks inside it to protect them for flights and check them in stress-free.
On backpack days, we fold it up and tuck it into the side pocket - takes up basically no space.
Travel backpacks are expensive & deserve to be protected! These things are DURABLE, they’ve gone all over the world with us. We add a luggage strap for extra security just in case, but since IKEA is basically worldwide, if it ever did tear it’s an easy stop to grab a new one.
