LIdon’t dream it’s over 🛼💖🥺💪🏻 at end of 2020, i randomly decided to buy a pair of artistic inline skates. I just had moved to LA from the netherlands, and didn’t know a single soul when I did. I felt so lonely and depressed being stuck in the US due to the pandy. i thought spending $500 on a pair of roller skates would be a good idea. even though it seemed quite delulu at first, skating became my new obsession. i had to overcome a bunch of injuries while training - roller skating will literally kick your butt lol, but I’m so glad i stuck with it. now, 4 years later, I’ve made it to the USA National Championships twice, created @larollercrew together with @areason2skate and had incredible opportunities to perform as a show skater. I’m so grateful i never gave up on myself. here’s to dreaming big, skating as an amazing sport, and the greatest community of sk8er bois and girlies ever 🥰✨
