KAA few other things to note👇🏽
✅You can see who people are following by clicking on their followers. Hidden but there!
✅You can @ mention people in your bio. It won’t show up until you hit enter and save
-500 character count limit
-Posts can include GIFS, photos and videos
-Links in your thread are clickable
-Videos can be up to 5 minutes long
-Main feed is recommended with some “light” suggesting
-Find people on Threads by typing in their user name followed by @threads.net
-Switch between light and dark mode by tapping on the Threads icon at the top of your screen
-Send GiFS by downloading them to your phone or using a GIF keyboard
-Voice notes, hashtags and search bar are all coming per @mosseri

People are excited! And for good reason. V1 of Instagram’s new text-based Threads app is prettttty great even if it’s still missing some core features.
If you’re like me you stayed up way past your bedtime last night playing around with Threads and laughing out loud at some of the posts.
Everyone’s a comedian, even the Instagram account has come unhinged, people are threading/stitching/sewing/knitting and we are all here for it.

PODeactivate Threads Without Deleting Your Instagram Account
Here are the steps
1. Open the Threads app Click on the two lines at the top right corner
2. Click on ‘Account’ from the list, and you will find the ‘Delete or Deactivate profile’ option. Choosing ‘Deactivate’ will archive all your posts, and you can reactivate your account later. Opting for ‘Delete’ will delete your account without affecting the linked Instagram account.
3. Select the ‘Delete’ option, and your Threads account will be deleted. You can cancel your deletion request within 30 days.
And it’s done ✅
