👩🏻⚕️IUI is done on Out patient basis, doesn’t need Anesthesia or admission and is a fairly painless procedure.
❌ There is no need to take bedrest or take any extra precautions after IUI. It is almost equal to trying naturally and shouldn’t effect your daily activities.
Bonus Tips for women undergoing IUI
1️⃣ Keep your bladder full (I.e., one should feel like using the washroom)
2️⃣ Relax and trust your doctor. Holding tight below or straining will only make it more difficult and uncomfortable for you.
3️⃣ IUI is like a pelvic examination and won’t take more than 5 mins

JEHow many mature follicles is too many for IUI?
Well, the answer may be different for different people based on age, fertility diagnosis, number of prior cycles...
But a great paper written by @drblakeevans published in @greenjrnl gives us some good insight into what exactly the risk of multiples is by both age and number of mature follicles.
This study included 24,649 people undergping 50,473 IUI cycles over 13 years and found that if you are less than 40, having more than TWO mature follicles (>14mm) on trigger day
DOES NOT increase chances of singleton pregnancy
BUT DOES significantly increase risk of multiples (INCLUDING higher order multiples like triplets (and quads!)
It's always worth it to discuss these risks with your doctor once we see how many follicles are growing and decide what is the safest plan for you ❤️

Karena tingkat kelahiran di Korea lagi turun banget banyak bantuan yang di berikan oleh pemerintah dan salah satu nya adalah subsidi IUI & IVF.
