5 must visit Jain temples in Rajasthan Recently visited this places Ranakpur Jain temple honours Adinath, the first Tirthankar of the present half-cycle (avasarpiṇī) according to Jain cosmology.The Ranakpur temple is one of the largest and most important temples of Jain culture.The campus includes various temples such as Chaumukha temple, Surya temple, Suparshvanatha temple and Amba temple. The Nakoda Jain temple is located in the Barmer District of Rajasthan. The place is considered to be one of the purest and holy places for Jains. As a result, a huge number of people, including Jains as well as non-Jains, visit the temple to take blessings. The mulnayak, or the principal god of the temple is Lord Parshwanath. The idol of Bhagwan is in Padmasana’s posture. It is believed that every person who bows against the lord with faith and respect, gets prosperity in life. Shree Pavapuri temple is situated in Sirohi district of Rajasthan. It is famous as a Jain Tirth (Temple complex) and Jeev Raksha Kendra (Animal Welfare Center). Shree Pavapuri temple derived its name from the Pavada Agriculture well that exists there. This pink stone Jain Tirth temple has natural surroundings and also a Gaushala (Jeev Raksha Kendra – Animal Welfare Center) which provide shelter to 5,500 stray cattle. Modern Dharamshala and bhojanshala facilities are available here Falna, in Pali district of Rajasthan is well known for its Golden Temple dedicated to Lord Parshvanath, the 23rd Tirthankar. The temple is beautifully decorated with intricate architecture. The high ceiling is made of marble with 1000 pillars. All the walls, pillars and roof are painted in gold, giving it the name - Golden Temple. Jirawala Tirth is a Jain temple in Jirawala village of Sirohi District in Rajasthan, India. It lies 58 km from Abu Road. The temple is considered an important Jain pilgrimage center.The iconic idol of Parshvanath, the principal deity of the temple, was found during an excavation. Mangi-Tungi is a very popular Jain Tirth near Satna, Nashik District, #Maharashta since the 12th century CE. It is a Siddhakshetra and the legend about this place is that about 99 crore Jain monks attained Nirvana in this place. It is mentioned in many Marathi and Sanskrit Literature. Apart from the Jain pilgrimage sites of Girnar, Shatrunjaya and Pavapuri in India, this place is also visited by many pilgrims. The caves and the Jain sculptures in them were carved from the 9th to 15th century CE. ⚠️ Visitors going are required to maintain the sanctity of this tirth. Don't eat, drink, smoke, litter.
