This might be one of my favorite pieces of tech recently, as the Nintendo DS vibes have reached the modern day with the AYN Thor! This Android powered handheld sports two screens for emulating all kinds of games, including those DS and 3DS games that I want to revisit – but my favorite thing recently has been porting Steam games to Android. I played most of Dispatch using the AYN Thor, while watching some YouTube videos on the other screen. The keyboard can still be used even when it is removed to reveal the lower screen and the entire thing is powered by the Intel Core Ultra 9. I unboxed the brand new, rebooted Pebble 2 Duo a couple weeks ago and it hasn’t left my wrist since – well, maybe just one time to charge. But think about that for a second, the fact that I only needed to take it off once to charge the battery up on this smartwatch that still brings me all of my notifications, tracks steps, has an effective vibration motor for waking me up in the morning, gives me my calendar events in a fun timeline, and just overall has a great quirky attitude.
