Camila, our strong warrior, daughter of Maestro Wilson, keeps feeling that deep call to follow the Shipibo path our family has walked for generations. She’s brave and full of power, and it’s been so beautiful and natural watching her abuela Maestra Matilde and the master plants guide her step by step organically.
She’s there with us in every ceremony, holding space with so much presence and a heart that’s truly devoted to helping others.
And this is why it’s so important to raise our children connected to the plants, we love them by showing them this sacred relationship from the start. It helps them grow rooted, wise, and full of respect for the nature that gives us everything.
When they know the plants as teachers, as family, as protectors, they learn to love them back, to care for them, and to keep protecting this medicine and our way of life for the ones who come after. That’s how the Shipibo tradition stays strong and alive.
We can’t wait to see Camila’s medicine path unfold, she’s going to be such a powerful Shipibita woman carrying it all the wisdom from her ancestors.
