Los que no estén en el lado de TikTok que yo estoy, hace no mucho salió nuevamente el lore de los Increibles donde aparece el proyecto de acabar con los supers, y muchos nos damos cuenta ahora lo oscuro que pudo ser si no fuera una película para niños (Pixar, te tenemo una idea millonaria). Every ancient holy day was aligned to a natural cycle. New Year’s Eve is not. Instead, it is aligned to time itself. Not life. Not light. Not rebirth. Just the ticking of the clock. That is the domain of Kronos, the god of time, limitation, and consumption. Kronos is the force that devours its own children. Symbolically, time consumes life. Aging, decay, pressure, deadlines, scarcity. When you celebrate a new year based on an abstract calendar change in the dead of winter, you are not honoring renewal. You are submitting to time as authority. This is why the ritual happens at night, in darkness, during the season of least light. It marks nothing in nature. Los Increíbles, el Proyecto Kronos no era solo un experimento aislado, sino parte de un plan mucho más grande de Syndrome para eliminar sistemáticamente a los superhéroes. Usaba el robot Omnidroid para aprender de cada combate: cada héroe derrotado hacía que el robot evolucionara y se volviera más inteligente y letal. Lo más interesante es que muchos héroes famosos dentro del universo de la película murieron en esas pruebas (como Gazerbeam), lo que convierte al Proyecto Kronos en algo bastante oscuro para una película animada. En el fondo, el plan de Syndrome era perfeccionar al Omnidroid hasta hacerlo invencible, derrotarlo él mismo frente al público y así fingir ser un “héroe”, controlando la idea de lo que significa ser super.
