Summary:
Ten years ago, “Gates” appeared, connecting our world with a dimension of monsters. Some humans awakened supernatural powers to hunt these beasts and are known as “Hunters.” Sung Jinwoo is an E-rank Hunter, infamously known as the “World’s Weakest.” During a double dungeon raid, he is left for dead but awakens to find himself chosen by a mysterious “System.” This program allows him alone to see a quest log and “level up” by completing tasks and killing monsters. As he transforms from a weakling to an unstoppable powerhouse, he discovers the ability to turn his defeated enemies into loyal “Shadow Soldiers,” eventually uncovering the truth behind the Gates and his own god-like role as the Shadow Monarch.
