✨ If you’re lifting weights, the scale might go UP and that’s not a bad thing. ✨ Women are often told to chase a smaller number, but here’s what actually happens when you strength train: • Muscle is denser than fat (it takes up less space) • You may weigh more while looking leaner • Your body holds more water + glycogen as you recover and get stronger • Your metabolism, bone density, and hormone health improve So if you’re lifting and the scale isn’t moving or even creeping up,that doesn’t mean it’s “not working.” It often means your body is recomposing, not failing. Instead of asking “What does the scale say?” Try asking: ✔️ How do my clothes fit? ✔️ Am I getting stronger? ✔️ Do I feel more confident in my body? Strong women don’t shrink themselves, they build themselves 💪🏼 Save this if you need the reminder. Drop a 💕 if you’ve ever let the scale mess with your head.

You’re stronger than those 5-pounders, mama 💪 I see this all the time in the gym… Women doing the same exercises with the same light weights… week after week…😐 And listen — I say this with love… You are stronger than that❗️ Here’s the truth most women aren’t told: 1️⃣ If it feels easy, it’s not strength training Those little 5 lb dumbbells might be perfect when you’re just starting out. But if you can easily do 8–10 reps for 3 sets, your muscles aren’t being challenged anymore. Muscle only grows when it has a reason to. 2️⃣ Your body adapts fast Your muscles are smart. If you keep giving them the same weight, they get comfortable. Getting stronger means gradually asking your body to do more — a little heavier, a little harder. 3️⃣ Muscle matters more as we age After 30, we naturally start losing muscle every year. The only way to slow that down? Build it on purpose. And that means lifting weights that actually challenge you. Most women are way stronger than they think. Sometimes the only thing standing between you and real strength… is picking up the next set of dumbbells. 🏋️‍♀️ If you’re ready to start building real strength, comment STRENGTH and let’s talk. 💬 #fitover40 #momssupportingmoms❤️❤️❤️

Can Lifting Weights Stop Your Growth? You sent Lifting weights won’t stunt your growth that’s a myth. Your height is controlled by growth plates, not dumbbells. Training with proper form is safe and can even support healthy development. What actually causes problems is bad technique and injuries. Train smart and get stronger the right way. First: ✨Comment IGNITE for a free full body 45–60 min workout you can do at home or in the gym. This is straight from my “IGNITE” program inside my app!✨ How many days do you need to be lifting weights? It depends on your goals - but… 3-4 days of smart training = results without burnout 💪 It’s the sweet spot for most! When I say gym time, I’m referring to actually lifting weights. Yes, with 3-4 days of lifting, you can: ✅ Build muscle ✅ Stay consistent ✅ Feel amazing ✅ Recover properly - especially in midlife! Please don’t think you need to be lifting weights 6-7 days a week. At 53, I’ll die on this hill. I know what it’s like to put in the work and not see progress because you’re not recovered. I’m living proof: you don’t need to live in the gym to get incredible results you can be proud of. If you can lift only 2 days? That’s fine! If you love 5? Also fine - as long as you’re truly recovered. Here’s how I’d break down training splits👇 💪 2 days: Full body x2 💪 3 days: Full body x 3 OR lower / upper / full 💪 4 days: 2 lower + 2 upper Lifting weights = fountain of youth. It’s THE BEST investment you can make in your future self! It’s never too late! Questions? Let me know below 👇🏼

I went from 240 lbs to 145 lbs in 12 months without a medication. Weight loss becomes 10x easier when you realize these 5 things: 1️⃣You don’t need to overhaul your life overnight. You don’t have to start with 10000 steps a day and 5 workouts a week. You can start with a 10 minute walk, whatever sounds manageable, and level up over time. 2️⃣You can lose weight without suffering. I didn’t cut carbs, sugar, or my favourite meals while dropping 95 lbs. I found a way to work treats and food I love into my plan, not a “cheat” from the plan. 3️⃣Consistency beats intensity. I didn’t do hours of cardio. I just showed up again and again, day after day, as best as I could. Everyday it gets a bit easier. 4️⃣Lifting weights transforms your body AND your confidence. Strength training took me from feeling “skinny” was the goal to realizing strong feels way better. It sounds dramatic but lifting weights changed my life. 5️⃣You won’t always be motivated, so build habits. Those small daily actions are what took me from 240 to 145 lbs in 12 months. 👉Ready to start your own transformation? Read his full story 👇 Ronnie Coleman didn’t start as a bodybuilding prodigy. He grew up in Louisiana, earned a degree in accounting, and worked as a police officer in Texas. Lifting weights began as a way to stay in shape for the job, not a plan for greatness. Everything changed when his unmatched work ethic met elite genetics. Ronnie trained brutally heavy, squatting and deadlifting weights most pros avoided, while still maintaining size and symmetry. That approach led him to win eight consecutive Mr. Olympia titles, redefining what peak bodybuilding looked like and setting a standard many believe will never be matched. The cost was immense. Years of extreme lifting resulted in multiple surgeries and chronic pain. Yet Ronnie never distanced himself from his choices. He stood by them. His legacy isn’t just championships or strength. It’s sacrifice, discipline, and the mindset of someone who pushed the human body to its absolute edge and accepted the consequences with pride. Credits to the respective owner. Comment “GAINS” to try a sample of Strong with Steph. Look, if you can see “died of dysentery” on a black and green screen imprinted in your mind, you might have been born in the 1900s too. You love your sport, I love my sport. We’re not elite competitors but that doesn’t mean we should skip strength training…but we also don’t have time to lift 6x a week yanno? Lifting weights is great insurance. Random workouts do not a plan make. Let’s keep it simple and effective so you know what to do and do it consistently. 👏💪

This might annoy some other PT’s BUT Ladies- lifting weights can make you gain weight. A lot of PTs say “you won’t bulk from weights , but that’s not the full picture. If you’re not in a calorie deficit, you won’t lose weight. Simple as that. Yes, weight training builds muscle (which is a good thing), but if you’re eating more than your body needs, your body will store the excess-and your physique can start to look bigger overall. So it’s not just about training. If your goal is to feel leaner and more toned, you need: • A structured training plan • Awareness of what you’re eating (not guessing) • To be in a calorie deficit • And daily movement outside the gym (steps matter more than you think) Because going to the gym 5x a week but sitting all day? That’s not the fat-loss hack people think it is.
