🍈Key Lime Pie is summertime’s favorite dessert💚💛💚let’s not limit this fave to one season♥️ when it comes to choosing which vessel you want to make this pie in, its dealers choice👆🏻if you’ve followed me for a minute, you may recognize that I like making “cracker crumb” pies in springform pans because it makes getting that first slice out super easy😅 This recipe can easily be made in a traditional 8”-9” pie plate, rather than a 7”-8” springform pan. You could even skip making the graham cracker crust altogether and just use a storebought graham cracker crust (again dealer’s choice)✨ Grab the recipe for this Key Lime Pie from below👇🏻 GRAHAM CRACKER CRUST * 1.5 cups graham cracker crumbs * 1/3 cup of granulated sugar * 6 tbsp melted butter * 1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon KEY LIME PIE FILLING * 2 14oz cans of sweetened condensed milk * 1/2 cup of sour cream * 3/4 cup of lime juice * 1 tbsp of lime zest Preheat the oven to 375F. Prepare your 7” springform pan with baking spray and line the bottom with parchment paper. If using a traditional 8”-9” pie plate, spray with baking spray. Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, melted butter, and cinnamon in a bowl. Mix all ingredients together until your mixture resembles wet sand. Use the backside of a small measuring cup and your fingers to form the pie crust in your vessel of choice. Once your crust is formed, bake your crust at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 7-8 minutes before removing from the oven. Drop your oven temp. to 350F. While the crust is baking, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, lime juice, lime zest, and sour cream until fully combined. Pour pie filling into your pre-baked graham cracker crust after it has cooled for 30 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for: * 13-15 minutes if you are using a 7” or 8” springform pan * 6-8 minutes if you are using a traditional 8” pie plate Remove the pie from the oven and allow it to cool to room temperature (about an hour), before finally refrigerating for at least 8 hours before serving. hope y’all enjoy this recipe♥️ -Happy Baking/XOXO- Sally #keylime #pie #homemade #lime #desserts

We are baking at 398 Sandy Hook Rd in Pontypool! Here’s the exact recipe I used so you can save and bake it too: 🍏 Swiss Apple Pie (serves 6) Ingredients • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell • 3½ cups thinly sliced apples • ½ cup + 1 Tbsp sugar • 3 Tbsp flour • ¼ tsp nutmeg • 2 eggs, slightly beaten • ¼ cup light cream Instructions 1. Layer apples evenly into the pie shell. 2. In a small bowl, mix ½ cup sugar, flour and nutmeg. 3. Add eggs and cream. 4. Stir until sugar is dissolved. 5. Pour evenly over apples. 6. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour, or until a knife inserted near the edge comes out clean. 7.
