Just an average Monday in the STEM Lab with 4th, 2nd, 1st, and 3rd grades! 4️⃣th is learning about circuits and used our Little Bits to invent a new product to “hack our classroom.” 2️⃣nd is learning about stop motion animation and focused on object motion today as they prepare for our big 2nd grade film festival coming up. 1️⃣st has been learning about coding and applied their knowledge while playing on Scratch Jr. And by the end of the day when I taught 3️⃣, I forgot to take video 🤦🏽‍♀️ but they are working in groups to design and create miniature golf courses. There’s always something fun going on in The STEM Lab!

Implementing a few tricks like the smiley servo covering the proximity sensor which is controlling the filter. Or making an 8-step sequence by using an inverter. Or the baseline controlled by both the keyboard and the pulse. The "drums" are noise through a randomly modulated filter with decay. #jamuary #modular #stem #sphero
