SDIt’s been two weeks since you knocked on heaven’s door.
I couldn’t bring myself to make this post because then it would make it more …real.
It will never feel real. You are missed deeply. You have so many wonderful people here on earth, who are really looking forward to seeing you again. We share the pain of this tragedy, and we will learn to live with the heavy weight of carrying it. I am forever grateful to have known you - thank you for showing me what true strength and friendships look like. For reminding me to always stay true to myself.
The world has changed in my eyes - I see life very different now. I don’t understand why this happened… and I’m so angry.
But I will trust God. As it says in John 13:7, Jesus tells Peter, “You do not understand now what I am doing, but later you will understand.” As you always said “Forever humble because what God gives, he can also take”.
I’m so sorry your life was cut short Tony.
Your memory will live through the rides we take, the bonds we share, and in the stories that will be told of you.
We carry your name forward, Anthony Lee St. John — with honor, with pride, and with the promise to look out for each other a little harder.
