Stocking the freezer with lunchbox options and ordering your ingredients from @doordash_aus straight to your door is super convenient. The kids are going to love these pizza muffins in their lunchboxes.  Pizza Muffins 2 packs ready made dough Oil spray Pizza sauce Mozzarella cheese Salami/sausage/sujuk Butter Garlic Italian herbs Method Spray a cupcake tray lightly with oil. Break off about 40g size balls from the pizza dough and place one ball in to each cupcake hole. Cover with cling wrap and allow to rest as per packet instructions. Dust some flour on the end of a rolling pin and gently flatten each ball to fill the cupcake hole. Squeeze pizza sauce on top each flattened dough and spread it out evenly. Top with mozzarella cheese, your choice of sausage, and some extra cheese. Meanwhile for the garlic butter- melt butter and add crushed garlic and a sprinkle of herbs. Top each pizza with garlic butter Place in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 10-12min or until golden. #pizzamuffins #lunchboxideas #Sponsored

Back to school- Cheese and Bacon Rolls✔️🧀🍞🥓 Looking for some last minute back to school ideas? This one will be a hit! Minimal ingredients and tastes better than the store bought ones! INGREDIENTS 2 cups self raising flour 1 3/4 cups Greek yoghurt 2 tsp baking powder 75g bacon pieces 1 cup cheese, grated METHOD Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Combine the Greek yoghurt, baking powder and flour into a bowl and mix gently. Sprinkle some extra flour onto the bench top and empty the mix onto the bench and start moulding together. Cut into 6 portions. Line a rectangular baking tray with baking paper and pop each roll on it. Top with bacon pieces and cheese. Cook for 20 minutes. ✨Mini Scone recipe below: follow for more @littleloucooks Sharing these again!! I’ll never tire of making mini scones! Ive been making these mini scones for over 5 years for my kids lunchboxes🥰 - and yes there’s a version of these in my new best selling cookbook - Make and Freeze- out now . Link in bio to @littleloucooks Heres why: Only 5 easy to find ingredients Quick and easy No fancy equipment needed My kids love them Batch bake Suitable for freezing Homemade is far better than shop bought I love putting homemade bakes in their lunchboxes Economical to make It makes me feel proud :) Save and share the recipe: Makes 22-28 mini scones 600g self raising flour - plus extra flour for dusting 150g butter- room temperature 3 tablespoon sugar 225-250ml milk** don’t add all the milk at once, see below 2 eggs Method: Step 1: Preheat the oven 180°C. Line 2 baking trays with parchment paper. Step 2: Put the flour into a large mixing bowl. Add the butter and the sugar to the bowl. Measure the milk into a jug, crack in the eggs and mix well. Have your mini scone cutter handy. Step 3: Rub the butter into the flour and sugar, using your fingers, until it resembles breadcrumbs. Make a well in the middle and pour in the milk mix, **but keep a little back for eggwash about 20-30ml. Step 4: Work in with a fork, and then dust the worktop with flour and use your hands to gently knead into a smooth round. If it’s still sticky add more flour. Flatten the dough out, about 1 inch thick. Dip the mini cutter (mines 2 inches) into the bag of flour and cut out the scones. Repeat until all the dough is used up. Step 5: Brush with the remaining eggwash, add a bit more milk of needed. Bake 18-20 mins at 180°C. Cool completely the store. Storage: Good for 2 days in an air tight container. Freezer: Store in food safe bags in the freezer for 3 months. Defrost in an airtight container overnight, then in the morning add butter and jam and pop them in the lunchbox. . . . . . . . #lunchbox #lunch #freezersnacks #lunchboxideas lunchboxhacks viralreel Fancy making them?

They see “lunchbox perfect” or “no sugar lunchbox” reels online which usually make them feel guiltier about their own child’s lunchbox. After 25 years working as a paediatric dietitian, I often notice the same lunchbox pattern showing up again and again. Not because parents don’t care. But because the modern snack aisle in the supermarket is mostly disaster. Here’s what I often see: 1️⃣ Ultra-processed snack overload Many “kid snacks” are highly processed and designed to taste great, but they’re often low in fibre and nutrients. This means kids get a quick burst of energy… and then they’re hungry again soon after. 2️⃣ Very little fibre Fibre is one of the most important nutrients for children’s gut health, immunity, and steady energy through the school day — yet many lunchboxes contain very little of it. 3️⃣ Not enough protein Protein helps keep kids full, focused and satisfied. Without it, blood sugar rises quickly and drops just as fast — which can lead to the classic afternoon energy crash. The good news? Lunchboxes don’t need to be complicated. A few simple changes can dramatically improve the nutritional balance, energy and fullness your child gets from their lunchbox.
