MAHere's how to BUY A MAGIC KEY pass as soon as your toddler turns 3!✨️🔑✨️🔑 CONFESSION: I was today years old when I learned of this😆
1. Visit the ticket booth in-person at the parks between the main gates
2. Your child must be 3 years old and present when buying the pass
3. Provide a document with proof of birthdate (original or copy of birth certificate or passport). No photos of the document will be accepted.
That's it! No need to wait until Magic Keys go on sale! The Magic Key program provides reservation-based admission to one or both Disneyland Resort theme parks. Magic Key passes feature a variety of admission opportunities, pricing options, experiences, and savings on food, beverages and merchandise.
✨️Plus, the adult purchasing the child's Magic Key pass does not need to be a current Magic Key pass holder.
✨️It's also recommended that the Magic Key pass for your 3-year-old be purchased as soon as possible once they have turned 3. For other children, you may attempt to purchase a Magic Key when they become available on January 10th or other future dates.

MAStarting January 13, 2026, the Explore Magic Key officially joins Disneyland’s Magic Key family, replacing the Enchant Magic Key which will no longer be available for renewal or purchase.
Let’s be real: Magic Keys are EXPENSIVE. But could they be worth it to cut on costs depending on your Disneyland travel plans for the next 365 days? I’ll do the math for you—here’s how many days you would need to visit the Disneyland Resort in the coming year to “break even” on your Magic Key cost:
🔑 Inspire ($1,899): 6-11 days
🔑 Believe ($1,474): 5-9 days
🔑 Explore ($999): 4-6 days
🔑 Imagine ($599): 2-4 days (available only to Southern California residents living in zip codes 90000 to 93599.
(Prices based on the cost of a one-day adult (ages 10+) park hopper ticket, using 2026 off peak/high peak price point ranges of $174 [$104 + $70 Park Hopper] to $314 [$224 + $90 Park Hopper].)

Magic key free event celebrating Disney California Adventure park 25th anniversary from Feb 5-15 2026
There will be photo ops, meet and greet n with mickye and minnie and Free post card magnet set!
Location is at Hyperion theatre courtyard.
This is a California Road trip theme event. 🤔 Dress up accordingly. 😅
Mickey and Minnie are dressed up in road tripping outfits. They rotate every 30 minutes.
The free post crad set comes in three designs by @jeffgranitodesigns with Mickey and Minnie, Spiderman and Inside out.
It is required each Magic key to join a virtual queue on the app on the day that you have a reservation to either park.
You are asked to join the 12 pm virtual queue.
The event is 2pm-8pm.
Virtual queue sign up required on the app. virtual queue starts at 12pm noon daily. you dont have to be scanned into the park. you can also sign up in person by scanning at the door, but they might get busy and pause that. it was not that busy today. They even allowed in person sign up at 6:50pm
