Making your own cheese at home is actually really easy and really fun to do. It only takes two ingredients to make this cheese and you can do the whole thing in less than 20 minutes so make your own mozzarella. It’s fun! . 1/2 gallon, raw or pasteurized milk (high-quality) 1/2 cup vinegar (or a little less, you don’t have to be exact) Pinch of salt (optional) . Heat milk and stainless steel pot to 115°F. Use a thermometer or if you put your finger in it it should feel like hot bath water. Add in vinegar, stir for 20 seconds. Take it off the heat and cover with lid for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove cheese, curds with slotted spoon. Place in cheese cloth or fine mesh strainer. Press out all the whey from the cheese curds. Heat up remaining whey liquid to 170° place your cheese ball inside the way liquid to warm up stretch the cheese and fold it over into a smooth ball. This is where you could add your salt place the cheese ball into ice water to cool completely! slice and enjoy. . Fresh Homemade Mozzarella Cheese 🧀 Two simple ingredients and under an hour is all it takes to make fresh mozzarella at home. It costs less than buying it, tastes way better than store-bought, and you already have everything you need at home right now. Follow along if you want to eat better while spending less. Ingredients • ½ gallon whole milk (make sure it’s NOT ultra-pasteurized) • ½ cup white vinegar • Optional: 1 tsp salt Instructions 1. Add the milk to a large pot and slowly heat it to 120°F (49°C), stirring occasionally so it doesn’t burn. 2. Take it off the heat, add the vinegar, and stir for about 30 seconds until curds form and separate from the whey. 3. Cover the pot and let it rest for 15 minutes. 4. Remove the curds and squeeze out as much liquid as possible. Mix in salt here if using. 5. Place the curds in a bowl and microwave for 30 seconds. Stretch and fold the cheese a few times until it’s smooth and stretchy. 6. Form into a ball and transfer to an ice bath for 15 minutes to firm up. #mozzarella #homemade

C for Cheese (Homemade & Easy)😍🧀 If you are a Jain, and you don’t consume cheese in Chaumasa or ever in your life, then this is the BEST homemade Jain Cheese recipe for you.😍 It turns out perfectly soft, grates and melts, tastes savoury and is so easy to make. Barely requires 10 minutes of time in kitchen and gets ready in a few hours of refrigeration.👩🏼‍🍳 📝 HOW TO? 🧀1 litre milk - Start by heating full fat milk on slow to medium flame. Remember it should just be lukewarm. 🧀 3 tbsp lemon juice - Turn off the flame, and start adding 1/2 tbsp to 1 tbsp of lemon juice at a time, then stir well for a minute. - Repeat adding lemon juice and stir again. This process has to be done in total thrice if you are adding 1 tbsp lemon juice. - Once the cheese separates, you will notice elasticity in the curdled solids and yellowish whey water. - Cover and rest for 2 minutes. 🧀 1/2 tsp eno 🧀 1/2 tsp water - Mix together blue eno and water and let the bubbles disappear completely. - Now strain the cheese mixture, remove all the excess water and add that to a blender jar along with the below mentioned ingredients: 🧀 1-2 tbsp ghee 🧀 2.5 tbsp milk 🧀 Salt as per taste - Also add the eno water mixture that we had prepared and kept aside. Blend it to make a smooth base. - Grease a container or mould with some ghee, transfer the cheese in it and let it refrigerate for minimum 4-5 hours. Share this with your friends and family. Save it for future reference.💌 Follow @ohyumness for more Follow @ohyumness for more Follow @ohyumness for more (Homemade Cheese, Jain Cheese, A to Z of Chaumasa Food, Chaumasa Recipes, Easy Recipes, Tom & Jerry Cheese, Cheese Lover, Cheese, Cheesy Recipes, Viral Food, Ohyumness, Jain, Jain Food)

2 Ingredient Mozzarella Cheese Did you know that all you need are 2 Ingredients to make fresh, gooey, stretchy mozzarella cheese at home- Fresh Buffalo Milk & Vinegar! The trick is to curdle milk at the right temperature- 46C, rest it for 10 minutes and then squeeze it out. Right now it is grainy in texture, so cook it in a non stick pan at medium heat for 5-6 minutes till it becomes smooth & stretchy. Shape it into a ball and immerse in ice cold water for 15 minutes. now enjoy! #mozzarella #cheese #recipe #pankajbhadouria #mozzarellacheese

I made this Colby cheese 🧀 Now comes the waiting. It’s headed into the cheese cave (aka my wine fridge). In a week, I’ll vacuum seal it — not the most traditional method, but it’s the one that works best for me. (Vac sealing means I don’t have to keep humidity at 80–85%, which can be tricky at home.) The recipe says it can be ready in about 30 days, but I like to age mine a little longer. Flavor takes time. I’ll see you back here in a few months for the taste test. Hang around. 🤍 Try it at home! You even have to read the ingredients on cheese! Read every single label of any food you bring into the house. Unfortunately, they do not have to label what kind of rennet they use. You will have to contact the manufacturer or if it says “vegetarian” rennet then you know that it is not traditional rennet from the calf stomach. Some artisan cheeses will say “animal rennet” or if you get your cheese directly from source, you can ask whoever is making it what kind of rennet they use. Kind of interesting when you put it all together…unnatural lab-made rennet…no wonder people have issues. When I tell you everything is a conspiracy, even the cheese is a conspiracy. I mean….if you had a plan for people to take something, wouldn’t you want to control the food? He who controls the food controls the people! Here I am making “farmer’s cheese” which is super easy and you can make in your kitchen. Recipe: 1/2 gallon milk 2-3 tablespoons acid like lemon juice, vinegar, or ACV Salt Herbs if desired Bring the milk to steaming, not boiling. Whisk occasionally while coming to a steam. Turn off the heat and add the acid. Let sit for 10 minutes until the curds have separated from the whey. Strain and then allow to sit for 10-20 minutes to drain. You can push more moisture from it to make a firmer cheese or keep it a soft cheese. Salt and add herbs if you want. This can be enjoyed with crackers or used in recipes like lasagna! Eat or use within a day or two. This is the first cheese I learned how to make before my neighbors taught me to make mozzarella! All back when I had a cow giving 3-5 gallons a day and I had a lot of milk to use up! My neighbors came over and showed me how to make yogurt, mozzarella, and butter from my cow’s surplus. They had a dairy cow at the time too so they shared their wisdom and I am forever grateful for that experience. I learned so much 🥹♥️🙏 When you think about what’s going on with the cheese….I wonder who would profit if everyone was intolerant to dairy? Or what the end goal is…hmm… And what else could be winding up in our food…. What do you think? 👀 #homesteadlife #homesteadinglife

The making of an endangered cheese. Brie is one of the most popular cheeses in the world. But the mold behind the globe’s supply of this funky cheese could be in danger. In our latest video for @businessinsider we head to France and New Zealand to learn what’s going on with the fluffy white mold. First stop: New Zealand, where @whitestonecheeseco inoculates milk with white mold and adds rennet to curdle then milk. In this clip, the cheesemaker is cutting the curds.
