Do you use makeup wipes? Makeup wipes are not something I recommend for regular use as they generally are not as effective as a proper cleanse and can be harsh on the skin. It is important to remove makeup at night and if you are unable to wash your face then wipes can be considered. I personally prefer micellar water as a gentler option for makeup removal. #dermatologist #skincarecommunity #makeupwipes #micellarwater

Eye creams can help hydration, but they can’t reverse herniated fat pads — no matter what the label says. 3. Sleeping on your stomach makes fluid pool under your eyes — switch to your back and elevate slightly. 4. Salt and alcohol are instant under-eye puff makers — if you’re puffy every morning, look at last night’s choices, not your cream. 5. Rubbing your eyes (allergies, makeup removal, crying) breaks down collagen faster than aging alone. 6. Not all dark circles are skin pigment — many are shadows from volume loss. No serum fixes shadows. 7. Retinol can help fine lines, but overusing it can dry and irritate the thin under-eye skin, making bags look worse. (It also can worsen dry eyes). 8. Sometimes it’s not “bags” at all — it’s hollowing under the eye that makes the bag look bigger.
