Best Strategy to Attempt Your Maths Paper Efficiently
• Start with Section A (MCQs & Short Questions)
• Begin with MCQs and section B 2-mark questions—these are quick to solve and will build confidence.
• If you’re unsure about an answer, mark it and come back later.
• Highlight key formulas used in your solution for clarity.
• Move to Section C & D (3-5Mark Questions)
• Follow step-wise solving—CBSE awards marks for each step even if the final answer is incorrect.
• Clearly mention formulas, substitutions, and the final answer.
• For word problems, always write a brief statement before calculations.
• Attempt Section E at last (4 Mark Questions)
• you can Solve the easiest 5-marker first to gain momentum.
• For proving questions, clearly show LHS = RHS step-by-step.
• Time Management & Final Review
• Section A: 20-25 min
• Section B & C: 50-55 min
• Section D: 40-45 min
• Section E: 30min Last 15-20 min ( margin 10 min )ONLY for rechecking & fixing mistakes.
• Other Important Tips
• Keep your answer sheet neat. Draw margins, box final answers, and don’t forget units (cm, m, ₹, etc.).
