When ever I do a shimmery look on texture skin, I try to be strategic about the placement of the shimmer but still pull off that glittery goddess effect. I like to use a liquid or cream highlight under the makeup, but focus it on high points of the face or areas with less texture. Then just a little pressed shimmer highlight down center if face.
