Mahkota Medical Centre proudly celebrates a historic milestone with the launch of Malaysia’s first hinotori™ Robotic-Assisted Surgical System, officiated by YAB Datuk Seri Utama Ab Rauf bin Yusoh, Chief Minister of Melaka.

hinotori™ is Japan’s first robotic surgical system, created for minimally invasive surgeries with exceptional precision, advanced flexibility and 3D visualisation. With its arrival at Mahkota, patients in Malaysia now have access to world-class surgical innovation that enhances safety, improves efficiency and supports faster recovery.
This landmark moment establishes Mahkota Medical Centre as the first hospital outside Japan to offer hinotori™ robotic surgery, reaffirming our commitment to innovation, excellence and patient-centred care.
